population 的用法
1. 意为“人口”，集体名词，谓语动词用单数。
The population of the world is growing faster and faster. 世界人口增长得越来越快。
2. 询问A有多少人口:
What is the population of A = How many people are there in A？
3. 表示A有....人口：
A have/has a population of + 数词 = the population of A is + 数词
China has a population of 1.4 billion. 中国有14亿人。
= The population of China is 1.4 billion.
4. 表示人口的“多”和“少”：large/big，small。
