An Outward Bound for Senior Three
In order to relieve stress for students of senior three , an Outward Bound was held.
All teachers and students attended this activity. They gathered outside the schoogate at 8 a. m. , this Sunday. They were supposed to reach the top of the mountain behind our school by 11 o'clock on foot. The whole course was extremely exciting and challenging.
The activity was highly thought of. All participants remarked that they benefited a lot mentally and physically. Not only did it ease their pressure, but also enriched theirschool life at the same time.

Last Sunday an extraordinary cross-country running race was held by our school, which nearly drew the attention of every student and teacher of our school.
The students selected from every class participated in the competition. The route was five kilometers, starting from our school gate to the foot of the South Mountain. The whole course was extremely difficult, especially the part near the mountain, narrow and rough. Difficult as it was, no participants gave up halfway. All the racers held on to the finish line.
The race was of great benefit to the participants, physically and mentally. Therefore, we all think highly of it, and expect more activities like this in the future.

An Impressive Mountain-Claiming
In order to help us students to keep fit and promote wills, our school organized a mountain-climbing on Aprial 10 and we recieved much fun and benefit.
It was a nice day, the sunlight warm and soft.At round 9 a.m., we gatheredat the foot of Daqing Mountain in high spirits, well-equipped for the tough journey to thedestination-the top of the mountaiin. Despite the hardship, we were singing and laughing allthe way, enjoying the the fresh air and the beautiful views. When some students fell behind orgot into trouble, others would come to their aid. At around 11 a.m., we all arrived at thesummit of Daqing Mountain. Bathed in the sunshine, we jumped and cheered with great joy.
This outdoors activity is really impressive and beneficial. Not only did it get us closer to thenature and relieve pressure form us, it also promote the friendship among us.

To raise students’ awareness of labor(劳动意识), our school organized an activity to rebuild a deserted(废弃的) garden on campus(在校园) last Friday.
Over 60 students from each class took an active part in the activity. On/Upon arriving at the garden, all the students were divided into two groups. One group was responsible for(负责) weeding the garden and the other group was in charge of (负责)planting flowers. After one and a half hours’ hard work, the activity came to an end(结束). Tired as the students were, they had great fun and sense of achievement.
The activity was thought/spoken highly of (被高度评价)by all the participants and turned out /proved to be(结果是/证明是) a great success. Not only does it offer students an opportunity to get close to nature, but it also makes students realize the importance of labor.
