Step 1: Lead-in Greet the class as usual. Ask some students to talk about how they get to school. Step 2:Pre-reading Ask students to Look at the picture of 2b. Guess what the story is about. Step 3: While-reading Fast reading: 1.Ask students to read the passage quickly, then check their predictions. 2.Work on 2b. Ask students to read the passage again and answer the questions. 1). What is the villagers’dream Do you think their dream can come true Why or why not Detailed reading: 1.Complete the task in 2c.
Ask students to read the passage again and complete the sentences with words from the passage. . For the students in the village , it is_______to get to school. 2).
