I think the greatest person that has ever lived is Mother Teresa. She changed many people’s lives. This is what I found out about her.
Mother Teresa was born on 27th August 1910 in Macedonia. She was the youngest in a family of three children.
When she was young, Mother Teresa studied religion and loved everyone. She became a nun in Ireland and left for India in 1929 and taught in St Mary’s High School from 1931.
In 1948, Mother Teresa became an Indian citizen and she started to help the poor in Calcutta.
Mother Teresa died on 5th September 1997 when she was 87. She was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979, and the President of the US awarded her the Medal of Freedom in 1985. She will always be remembered for devoting her life to caring for the poor.
She was a kind person who gave up everything for others. That is why I admire her so much.

书写抱怨信函时，不妨开门见山表示有何不满，以及为什么不满，最后提出解决的方法。内容应明确、清楚、有理，语气要简洁、坚决。避免使用愤怒和使对方过于难堪的措辞。
A complaint letter
以下是一封顾客对旅游公司服务的一封抱怨信:
Dear Mr. manager,
I’m writing to complain about the service you had provided for me this February. My friends and I participated in your travel agency. However, we hadn’t received the perfect service you had promised. I want to tell you something about it.
First of all, I felt really angry about the guide.
开门见山指出写信的目的是对旅行社服务的不满意。
She was so rude and unprofessional that she told us little about the tourist attractions.
Besides, she just listened to the MP3 herself and was arbitrary about the tourists’ requirements. Secondly, the hotel was so bad that I could hardly eat the food and it was so noisy that I couldn’t sleep well those days which had a great impact on my travel. On top of these, you had asked us to pay for something we didn’t need and I think it was illegal.
First of all, secondly, on top of these三个短语分别就抱怨的具体内容（导游、旅馆、额外消费）进行了阐述。

Life on Mars In the future, I think people will live on Mars. They will have more space and transport should be much better. Travelling to Mars might take only a very short time. But there is not enough food, water and air for people to survive. So I think scientists would develop plants that produce the food and oxygen. It is easy to float away on Mars. Maybe humans have to wear special boots to make them heavier. However, meals would not be tasty because they are in the form of pills.
