Section A 1a-1c课程类型 听说课 课时 1执教教师 学校名称一.内容分析 一、教材分析 本单元是八年级的第3单元 ,本单元以“看”“听”“说”“读”“写”五项语言技能贯穿整个语言学习过程。 1b是一个图文并茂的多模态语篇,给出我们一幅单元主题图,里面是三对双胞胎(Tara和Tina ,Sam和Tom, Peter和Paul)。每一对双胞胎都有各自的区别。三个孩子在讨论这三对双胞胎。其中一个男生指着Tom问:那是Sam吗?女生回答:不,那是Tom。Sam的头发比Tom长。另一个男生说: Sam和Tom都能打鼓,但是Sam比Tom打的更好。本单元需要掌握的是比较级,句型是:Sam has longer hair than Tom. 1a要求学生将单词与其对应的反义词进行匹配。 1b 是听三段对话,对话内容涉及到对三对双胞胎的比较。对话1谈到Sam的头发比Tom长;Sam比Tom更会打鼓。对话2谈到Tina比Tara高;Tina唱歌比Tara更大声。对话3谈到Peter比Paul重;Paul比Peter矮。 这里要求听对话给双胞胎排序:这里是练习听关键信息 三对双胞胎分别是Tara和Tom ,Sam和Tom, Peter和Paul,学生既要听大意,也要听关键信息。 1c是从输入到半控制性输出,看着单元主题图进行对话:谈论的是如何辨别双胞胎以及双胞胎之间的区别。本单元的目标语言就是Tina is taller than Tara. Sam has longer hair than Tom. 2a,2b听力语篇内容是双胞胎Tina和Tara之间的不同。 2a部分是听采访者与Tina和Tara之间的对话,完成表格,判断左边方框中的单词是如何变成比较级的,是直接+er/ier还是在前面加more。单词有:funny, friendly, outgoing, hard-working, smart, lazy, fast, high, hard, early.其中直接+er/ier的有:funny, friendly, smart, lazy, fast, high, hard, early.在前面加more的有:outgoing, hard-working.这一部分是为了让学生掌握形容词、副词如何变比较级。 2b部分是再次听对话,写出Tina和Tara之间的不同。 2c部分是从输入到控制性的输出,要求学生两人一组,一个学生看右边的表格,另一个学生看81页的表格,表格内容是Sam和Tom之间的比较,包括smart, tall, run fast, get up early, thin, funny, hard-working, friendly这些方面。两个表格所涉及的内容不同,右边的表格是对tall, get up early, funny, hard-working这些方面进行比较,81页的表格是对smart, run fast, thin, friendly这些方面进行比较。两人互相提问自己表格中缺少的信息。在这个过程中,学生需要运用比较级进行问答,进一步练习巩固。 二、语言知识; 词汇:outgoing, hard-working, loud, similar, both, better, loudly, quietly, 语法知识:Comparatives with –(i)er and more 三、语言技能: 听:听懂对话大意,听清关键信息,听并且写出关键词(听后填空) 说:用目标语言谈论单元主题图中的双胞胎的人物特征。 读:跟读听力文本,纠正发音; 看:看单元主题图,了解本单元的主题与目标语言。 写:用所学句型和词汇写出身边同学人物特征对比 四、文化知识: 教育学生关注自己和身边的人 提高观察能力和判断能力 五、学习策略 1)元认知策略:安排预习 2)认知策略:用思维导图来加深对听力文本信息的理解。 3)交际策略: 借助手势,表情来提高交际效果,通过重复等方式来维持两人小组的交际活动; 4)情感策略: 对英语保持兴趣,主动运用语言参与小组活动。 文本分析【听力语篇分析】 What (主题和内容) 1a是一幅关于比较级的主题图。我们在主题图中可以看到三对双胞胎,他们各有区别。在对话1中谈到Sam和Tom的区别是: Sam的头发比Tom长;Sam比Tom更会打鼓。在对话2中谈到Tina和Tara的区别是:Tina比Tara高;Tina唱歌比Tara更大声。在对话3中谈到Peter与Paul的区别是:Peter比Paul重;Paul比Peter矮。这三段对话中包括了本单元的重点句型:Sam has longer hair than Tom. (形容词)Sam plays better than Tom. How(篇章组织) 1a-2c以1b中辨别双胞胎引出用比较级对人物特征的描述这一主题,到2a,2b对其中一对双胞胎的详细采访。 所涉及到的都是用形容词和副词的比较级对人物特征进行对比描述。 Why(价值取向) 1a-2c都是对人物的特征进行描述,比较人与人之间的不同,引导学生关注自己和身边的人,提高观察能力和判断能力。学情分析 1.知识 学生从没有接触过比较级,以往接触到的都是原级。因此应先从原级入手,可以先给学生展示几张对比明显的公众人物的图片,比如高矮,胖瘦,头发长短等,从一对反义词开始,再慢慢引入比较级这个概念。 2.技能 听、说、看、写:经过初一一年的学习,学生有了一定的听力训练机会和开口表达的能力,因此学生应该有了一定的听力技能(预测、抓关键词、获取主旨大意、记录笔记等)和经验完成本节课的听说任务。本节课涉及到的词汇很多是以前所学词汇的重现,绝大多数学生在写关键词的听力任务中不应有困难。 3.学习与生活经验 人物特征这个话题与学生的生活联系紧密,学生也比较感兴趣。可以从身边的人入手,让他们比较班上的同学,活跃课堂。三.教学目标 By the end of this class, students will be able to: A类目标: pronounce and spell the words:outgoing, both, hard-working, better, loudly, quietly talk about the differences between the twins in the picture of 1b. Tina sings more loudly than Tara. adj / adv 变比较级的规则:八、教学反思这节课是八年级第三单元 I’m more outgoing than my sister. 中的第一课时。本课主要讲解英语中的比较级,让学生了解英语中形容词和副词的比较级如何变化,学会用比较级来描述人物特征。本节课从形容词和副词的原级入手。先让学生们用原级来描述人物,然后逐步过渡到比较级,使学生易于接受。使用的图片多使学生熟悉的娱乐明星或体育明星,提高学生兴致。除了让学生完成书上的听力练习,我还增加了听力文本的填空练习,提高学生听力水平,同时让他们更加牢固的掌握比较级的构成。每次完成听力练习后的跟读活动,纠正学生的语音语调,熟悉听力文本。“说”的部分设计了“猜猜他/她是谁”的小组活动,提高课堂趣味性,使学生将所学用于生活中,进一步巩固所学知识。 本堂课还需要思索的部分是如何用一个主线,将整节课串联起来,引导学生一步一步掌握比较级的用法。 展开更多...... 收起↑ 资源预览
