读后续写：情感升华万能句（解析版）
今天要分享的主题是：情感升华万能句。情感的升华主要用续写的第二段，特别是结尾处。
我们先看这个万能句的结构：
Seeing sth , I felt as if it had been doing and saying,”........”
看到某物，感觉某物好像在做某动作，并且说“（突出主题的话）”。
这个句子的亮点在于：首先该句是虚拟语气句型结构，需要注意，动词时态需要用had been doing，其次seeing sth是非谓语动词做伴随状语，另外句型中加入对话；最后，从修辞的角度，使用了“拟人”的手法。
需要明确的是seeing sth.中的sth.到底是什么呢？我们知道，在故事发展中，一般都会有一两个线索词。这些线索词要么贯穿始终，要么是在推动故事发展过程中，起到非常重要的作用。比如2020年高考，主角的脑袋被困在了一个南瓜里。因此，这个“南瓜”就成了这个故事的主线。八个省份的联合考试，主角的汽车在半路上抛锚，遇一家人的热心帮助。在主人公即将开车离开时，热心的小女孩还递给他一个纸袋，纸袋里有食物。那么“纸袋paper bag”在推动剧情发展中，就起到了的重要作用。所以，“南瓜”和“纸袋”可以用在seeing sth中。
Part 1 情感升华万能句
第一个例子
主人公“我”是老年人，想回到学校学习识字，但是连字母表都不会读。最终战胜了自我怀疑，成功能识字看报纸。升华主题的时候，我们怎么用这个万能句型来表达呢？请看这句：
Seeing the alphabet again, I felt as if it had been encouraging me and saying, ” it’s never too late to learn”.再次看到字母表，我觉得它好像在鼓励我并说，“学习永远不会太晚”。
第二个例子
主人公“我”是个颓废少年，无意中通过自己的专长“扔标枪”，找到了自信，并成功逆袭。我们怎么通过万能句型来升华呢？
Seeing the javelin, I felt as if it had been encouraging me and saying, “You’ve found your talent and I’ve found you”看到标枪，我觉得它好像在鼓励我，并说，“你找到了你的天赋，我找到了你”。这句话中，javelin是“标枪”，talent是“天赋”
第三个例子
2016年高考真题，讲述了夫妻俩野外露营，因小事发生争执，女主人独自走进森林迷路的故事。最后如何用万能句升华呢？
Seeing the helicopter, Jane felt as if it had been comforting her with its thunderous voice, “Your waiting pays off.”看到那架直升机，简觉得它好像在用雷鸣般的声音安慰她，“你的等待是有回报的。”
第四个例子
2016年高考样题，讲述了主人公亚瑟遇到了银行抢劫，他巧妙把可能藏有赃款的行李箱 suitcase运到了警察局的故事。最后的升华句，能不能借用我们今天用到的句型呢？我们一起来看看
Seeing the suitcase, Arthur felt as if it had been praising him , “Your did great job!”看到手提箱，亚瑟觉得好像在称赞他，“干得好！”
我们主要说明的是，这种句型可以用来提升情绪，主要用于故事的结局，如果你觉得这种句型在故事的发展过程中更适合使用，也是可以的。
比如2017年高考真题，讲的是主人公“我”与健忘妈妈一块去旅游的故事。途中妈妈忘记了帐篷tent，妈妈执意要返程寻找。看到帐篷的那一刻，你就可以用上这一句
Seeing the tent, I felt as it had been sighing and saying, “I want to experience the outside world.看到帐篷，我感觉它一直在叹息着说，“我想体验外面的世界。”
第五个例子
情感升华的结局，需要有很高的立意，是整个故事的灵魂，这样的结局具有很强的艺术感染力，一般情况下，我们可以用表现人生感悟、生活真谛、生活哲理、人生观或价值观等方式，来实现结尾部分的情感升华。
主人公在故事的结尾处，表达自己对价值观：“幸福”的理解。来看看下面的表达：
I am extremely unhappy about it. I think money doesn’t equal happiness. 我对此非常不高兴。我觉得金钱不等于幸福。
And free life style also doesn’t equal happiness. 自由的生活方式也不等于幸福。

今天要分享的主题是：情感升华万能句。情感的升华主要用续写的第二段，特别是结尾处。
我们先看这个万能句的结构：

When my father doesn’t answer the phone, I don’t think anything of it. He’s 75 years old and doesn’t always want to talk.
This was what I told myself when I called him and he didn’t answer one Wednesday afternoon in January earlier this year. I was in Thailand for a trip. It’s sunny there but in Ohio, where my dad lives, it’s cold and snowy.
I tried calling my dad two days later. Again, no answer. I was starting to feel uneasy. Thankfully, I didn’t have enough time to worry because he immediately called back. But his voice was dry and weak. He said he had fallen down and had been on the floor for days. He was calling from the floor.
I immediately used another phone to call my sister Kristel. When she’s already in the car, I hung up with her and continued talking with my dad. I didn’t want to hang up, because I didn’t know if he had a heart attack or a stroke. What I did know was that I wished I wasn’t so far away.
My dad spent the next three days in the hospital. The doctors didn’t know what had happened. The tests they ran didn’t tell them anything because he was on the floor for too long.
Besides her work time, my sister was the one sitting next to my dad for hours in the hospital taking care of him. She had always been the one on the front line of his care but it’s becoming apparent that she’s burning out.
For most of my life, I’ve not taken on any kind of family responsibility. I’m the youngest. I studied abroad. I vacationed in faraway lands and I was always too busy to come home. But my sister Kristel, who is 10 years older than me, has always been responsible. As she grew up, she helped our parents on the farm. Ever since she was in high school, Kristel has always had multiple jobs. But when my dad fell and was rushed to the hospital, I decided to spend more time with him.

So his mom took all of the paintings and called Rick over so that they could talk about them. “Tell me, Rick. What are these paintings about ”
“Well, the first painting is about how some of the kids show off their new clothes and pencil cases. The next painting is about my teacher who keeps telling me about how I’m doing things wrong. And the last painting is about how one of my schoolmate’s father suggested that I change my attitude. All of them make me so angry.” Rick’s mom, in a calm voice, took Rick by her side and told him: “Don’t you see it, Rick ” “See what ” Rick asked. “You’re so angry at all of these things but not once did you try to understand why you’re getting so angry. What have all these people done to you, really ”

A large brown squirrel was a few feet away. I watched as he picked up a pecan, hurried to a tree, jumped up to the trunk and disappeared in a large hole. A moment later the squirrel popped back out and climbed down to the ground to pick up another nut. Once again, he took the pecan back to his hiding place inside the hollow of the tree.
Not so secret anymore, I thought. I dashed over to the tree and looked into the hole. It was filled with pecans! Golden pecans were right there for taking. This was my chance. Handful by handful, I scooped all of those pecans into my bucket. Now it was almost full! I was so proud of myself that I couldn’t wait to show Grandpa all the pecans.
I ran back and shouted, “Look at all the pecans!” He looked into the bucket and asked, “Well, well, how did you find so many ” I told him how I’d followed the squirrel and taken the pecans from his hiding place.
Grandpa congratulated me on how smart I’d been in observing the squirrel and his habits. Then he did something that surprised me. He handed the bucket back to me and put his arm gently around my shoulders.

People use the proverb “seeing is believing” to describe situations where it’s hard to believe something is possible if you haven’t seen it happen. I am here today to tell you that the proverb is true and to share with you how a girl and her grandmother made a positive transformation in a community.
It was a year ago when I was studying life cycles in my science class. I wrote a paper about the life cycle of the monarch butterfly (帝王蝶) and received a perfect score. I was so thrilled; I called my grandmother Nana and told her the exciting news. My talk recalled memories from Nana’s childhood. “I remember when I was a girl,” she said, “those orange and black butterflies were a common e late summer, there would suddenly be hundreds of them, and before long there were so many it felt like you were standing in an orange cloud.”
“It sounds like you witnessed a migration (迁徙), but what happened to them ” I asked. “To be honest, I’ve never known,” Nana admitted. “But there do seem to be fewer monarchs around the neighborhood.” Nana and I decided to investigate.
That weekend, we met at the public library. Our research produced plenty of information: some fascinating and some concerning. Apparently, the number of monarchs has been in decline for the last several decades. Housing developments have destroyed much of their habitat (栖息地). Some information was hopeful, though, like how conservationists are working to save them.
The best was this — it doesn’t take lots of money or equipment to do so. It takes only a little bit of land, some seeds, and dedicated people to create what’s called a Monarch Waystation (驿站).
“What if we set up our own Monarch Waystation ” I suggested. “We’ll need people to help.” Nana responded immediately and didn’t waste time to get started.
