（一）单元主题语境
教材：2019人教版《英语》选择性必修四Unit5 Launching Your Career
单元主题：围绕“职业和职业规划”这一主题展开，属于 “人与自我—做人与做事”这一主题群。
主题意义：通过不同题材和体裁的语篇引导学生了解职业规划中职业定位、目标选择、求职申请等相关内容，旨在帮助高中学生在填报高考志愿之前，对未来大学专业及职业目标能有更全面、更深入的思考和认识。本单元注重培养学生的自我认知能力，让他们了解职业规划的重要性，激发他们自我发展的动力，同时还强调学生应从社会发展的角度，考虑个人的职业规划和人生目标。
大观念：本单元由名言介绍、对话、访谈、说明文、视频、招聘启事、求职信和简历、视频等多模态语篇构成。在设计单元活动前，需关注单元内各语篇之间的联系，以主题为引领设计学习活动，引导学生树立正确的人生观、世界观以及职业发展目标。

（三）单元教学目标
学完本单元，学生能够：
阅读介绍职业能力倾向测试的说明文，辩证理解职业能力倾向测验在职业规划中的作用。

反思：语法填空结合课文内容，能够有效检测学生对课文内容的理解，同时锻炼学生的语法填空的技能，大部分同学都能够全部正确，只有小部分同学对于词性变化不是很了解，所以在第二课时教师着重讲解词汇。

单元整体作业设计反思及改善方案
在2017年版《普通高中英语课程标准》中，英语学习活动的设计应围绕主题语境，基于口头和书面等多模态形式的语篇，通过学习理解、应用实践、迁移创新等层层递进的语言、思维、文化相融合的活动，引导学生加深对主题意义的理解，进而尝试在新的语境中云应用所学语言和文化知识，分析问题、解决问题，创造性的个人观点、情感、态度。
因此，教师如何设计作业是落实核心素养的一个重要落脚点。对于此作业设计主要有以下几点反思及改善方案。
作业应走进生活，与情境相结合
此作业设计在口头与书面语篇方面应更好的与情境相结合，贴合学生的生活，考虑学生的实际情况，学生才能有话可说，同时，教师不要过分注意学生的语法错误，而要鼓励学生多说，学生才能有说的自信。
作业应培养能力，“取长补短”
在作文设计板块，教师应该考虑学生的不足之处，比如本作业设计的作文设计，虽然可以很好的检测学生对于作文结构的掌握情况，但是学生可能缺乏对于相关话题词汇，所以教师应该注意作业的布置应该选取长处即作业材料的好的地方，再结合学生的短处，才能有效的提升学生的能力。
作业应平均分配，有效监督完成情况
对于需要小组完成的作业，教师应该进行完整的说明，除了要求之外，每个成员负责的板块也要进行详尽的说明，让每个学生明确自己应该完成的任务，并且教师要负责后续的跟进，解答疑问，这样才能有效的锻炼学生的能力，检测学习情况。
