In China, the Spring Festival is the first day of the lunar year. People usually start preparing for the festival one month before it comes. Madam Curie
Madam Curie was a well-known woman scientist all over the world. She was born in Poland in 1867 and died in 1934.
She loved reading books when she was a child and wanted to be a scientist in the future. She finished middle school at the age of 16. When she was 24 years old, she left for Paris and went to study in Paris University. She lived a simple life and studied very hard.
Madam Curie devoted all her life to the study of science. She won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1903 and for Chemistry in 1911.
I think it's not easy for a woman to get such success. It's more difficult for a woman to win the Nobel Prize twice during her life. So Madam Curie will always be remembered as a great woman.
