Tanghulu is a special and sweet childhood memory of many Chinese people. When winter comes, you can see people selling Tanghulu on each street in Beijing. Bright red in color, with perfect sweet-and-sour taste, Tanghulu is a popular traditional snack in most parts of northern China. In the past, people mainly used the hawthorn （山楂）to make Tanghulu. Prepare what you need:
Hawthorns or other fruit, white sugar and water.
