They teach us about our country's history and enable us to learn more about fine Chinese values, helping shape our national identity.

Many parties have important roles to play in promoting traditional Chinese festivals. The government should make them public holidays. It is beneficial for the media to spread more knowledge about these traditions so as to raise people’s interest in the origins and history of the festivals.
