教材分析
本节课是一节阅读课，课程内容围绕How can you become a successful learner 展开。2a是读前活动，要求学生列出好的学习方法，旨在导入话题，为详细讲解2b做铺垫。2b通过标题与副标题训练学生快速捕捉信息的能力，同时提出四种好的学习习惯。2c通过提问引导学生思考文中的细节，使学生更好的理解课文。2d引导学生学习利用词典自主查阅单词的意义和用法，帮助学生掌握新的学习技能。2e引导学生在思考的同时锻炼口语表达能力，并帮助学生培养好的学习习惯。
学情分析
经过本单元前面三节课的学习，学生对于如何成为一个好的学习者已经有了一定把握，也掌握了一些学习方式和解决困难的方法，但很多同学没有好的学习习惯，本节课学生需要将课堂内容与自身具体情况相结合，培养好的学习者应具备的学习习惯和方法，以取得更大的进步。

Step 1 Revision
Evaluate their homework and invite two students to the platform to show their process of discussing their problems.

Step 2 Warming up
Show a video to students and present that developing good learning habits is also one of the ways to become a good learner.
【设计意图】表达好的学习习惯也是成为优秀学习者的途径，强调好的学习习惯的重要性，为引出课程主题做铺垫。
Step 3 Pre-reading
Show six pictures and ask students to judge whether they are good or bad habits
【设计意图】使学生更好地区分好的学习习惯和坏的学习习惯。
Ask students what good learning habits do they have, and ask them to discuss in group.
【设计意图】促使学生通过交流互相学习好的学习习惯，锻炼学生的口语表达能力，引出课文。
Step 4 While-reading
Skimming
Ask students to look through the passage quickly and answer questions.

Guide students to learn to analyze the passage structure with the title and subtitles, the first paragraph, the last paragraph and the first sentence in each paragraph.

Careful reading
Task 1: Ask students to read para.1 and finish the following questions:

Step 5 Post-reading
Help students use a dictionary to find the definition that matches the context of the word in a text.Ask students to look up the first three words.

Lead students to talk about 2e, and ask them discuss in groups.

本节课遵循以学生为主体的原则，围绕”How can you become a successful learner ”这一话题展开，结合学生实际讨论优秀学习者应具备的好的学习习惯，我在教学中采用了不同的练习方式和讨论形式，力图打造轻松愉悦的学习氛围，促使学生更好地掌握课堂知识，并有意识地去培养好的学习习惯。课堂还涉及到快速捕捉文章信息、划分文章结构的阅读方法以及利用词典查阅新词汇的技巧，相信通过本节课的学习，同学们能够去养成良好的学习习惯，找到学习英语的乐趣，并在学习上取得进步。
