一、现在进行时的定义
现在进行时表示正在进行的动作或正在发生的事，也可表示前一段时间内的活动或现阶段正在进行的动作。提示词有：look,listen,now,及表示具体某一时间的短语，如：at 8 o’clock等。
现在进行时的结构。
现在进行时态的肯定句式结构：
主语+be动词（am,is,are）+动词-ing形式+其他。be动词必须与主语的人称和单复数形式一致。如：
My father is cleaning the car.我爸爸正在擦车。
I am sweeping the floor.我正在扫地。
They are sweeping the floor.他们正在扫地。
现在进行时的特殊疑问句式结构：
特殊疑问词+be动词（am,is,are）+主语+动词-ing+其他？如：
What is he doing now 他现在正在做什么？
What are you doing, Tom 你正在做什么，汤姆？
Who is singing in the classroom 谁在班上唱歌？
Where are you watching flowers 你/你们在哪儿赏花？
动词现在分词的构成
大部分动词是在其原形后直接加-ing.如：
do-doing,clean-cleaning,cook-cooking,eat-eating,help-helping,wash-washing,watch-watching
我发音e结尾的动词，先去掉e,再加-ing.如：
make-making, write-writing, take-taking,skate-skating,have-having,ride-riding
以重读闭音节结尾的动词，如果末尾只有一个辅音字母，则应先双写这个字母，再加-ing.
如：sit-sitting, swim-swimming, put-putting, run-running, jog-jogging,begin-beginning
stop-stopping,shop-shopping,chat-chatting,forget-forgetting,cut-cutting
be动词的用法。
一般现在时态中be动词形式有三种：am,is,are
I 用am,单数名词或者不可数名词用is,we/you/they或者复名词树用are.
缩略式为：I’m,you’re,he’s,she’s,we’re,they’re
否定缩略式：isn’t,aren’t
口诀：I跟am,you跟are,is连着他（he）她（she）它（it）
单数用is,复数用are,不可数名词用is

现在进行时态的一般疑问句结构：be动词+主语+动词-ing+其他？
肯定回答：Yes,主语+be动词。否定回答：No,主语+be动词+not.如：
--Is he looking for the juice --Yes, he is.--他正在寻找果汁吗？--是的
--Is she looking for the tomatoes --No, she isn’t.
--她在寻找一些土豆吗？--不，她不是。
--Are they dancing --Yes,they are./No,they aren’t.
--他们在跳舞吗？--是的，他们是。/不，他们不是。
--Are you cooking meat with potatoes --Yes, I am.--你在煮土豆烧肉吗？--Yes, I am.
--Are they cooking dinner --Yes, they are.--他们在煮晚饭吗？--是的。
there be句型
There be句型强调的是“存在关系”，表示额是“某处有（存在）某人或某物”，它的结构为
There be+名词+地点。
there be后接可数名词或不可数名词时，be动词用is.如：
There is a book on the desk.书桌上有一本书。
There is some bread in the fridge.冰箱里有一些面包。
There is some meat in the fridge.冰箱里有些肉。
There is some juice in the fridge.冰箱里有一些果汁。
there be后接可数名词复数时，be动词用are.如：
There are some pens on the desk.在书桌上有一些钢笔。
There are three potatoes in the fridge.冰箱有三个土豆。
Three are five tomatoes in the fridge.冰箱里有五个西红柿。
