Then my preparations started. I was waiting for the night to end and the party to begin. Next morning, my mom was surprised to see me. No alarm, no mom's warning, just I woke up by myself.
The whole day had passed and now it was party time. My dad dropped me in my friend's place and told me that he would be back at 10. I said “OK, OK” and I ran away. I enjoyed a lot at the party. My friend loved that card which I made for her and everybody in the party loved my dress. I was excited. We had dinner, we played so many games and it was 10 finally. I remembered my mom's advice that I should be back till 10.

In each of the rounds that I debated in, all the judges selected me as the best one. As the finals drew near, I became more and more dissatisfied with my team. I began missing practices. My teacher was worried. My teammates were panicked. However, they had no choice but to rely on me to win the finals. Even if they would love to remove me from the team they could not because there was no replacement good enough.
The day of the finals finally came. I was very excited that I was able to finally show off my debating skills. Everyone was expecting my performance.They knew that I was praised to be the one most likely to win the best speaker for the debate series.

Many of the students worked in a factory for twelve hours throughout the night and hurriedly took a bus in the morning straight to our 8：00 am class. Actually, it was he who made my day. Sometimes I wondered if I was really teaching my students in the best way possible. But I gave my all to this class, and they gave their all to me. He came into my life due to an injury in one of his legs which prevented him from making the team for the Trail Sled Dog Race.
My lifelong dream was to become a mountain man. So this winter, my wife Cheryl and I headed into the mountains with supplies to live for five months. In January, we had begun pushing east toward an untraveled area of the Yukon River. The trapping prospects there looked promising. We returned to our main cabin and made plans for me to use Cheryl's dogs, hooking (钩) them together to form a large team. The idea was to bring supplies several miles down the river and establish a permanent camp.
That meant I'd be traveling alone and driving a sled loaded with around 300 pounds of goods, which meant extra hard work for my wheeler, Nike. The first serious challenge in our trip came where the path went down a steep valley that led to the river. As we started down, I stood on the brake with all of my weight in an attempt to keep balance. But the heavy sled began overtaking the dogs, and they picked up their pace to stay ahead of it. The sled became faster and faster until we came to a sharp turn at the bottom of the hill.
Eventually, the dogs got entangled (缠结) with each other and the sled got stuck in a crack in the river ice. I emerged from a large snowdrift and assessed the damage. I expected to find my dogs and a broken sled. But the sled was fine, and the dogs had jumped over each other, freeing themselves from the tangled ropes. Nike emerged from the snow, shook himself off, looked at me with encouraging eyes and made me smile.

He was talented and became a professional member at the age of 17 with the hope of winning the qualification of entering the Olympic Games. But just before the competition, his old injury returned and he only got the sixth place, which meant he could go no further in sports. He was at a great loss, wondering where his future was.

Looking up to see Claus looking down at them from the top of the well, Steve shouted, “Claus, you're going to have to be a big boy and save us. You have to go out to the road and get someone to help.
