Step three: While-reading Global reading Task 1: Have students underline the topic sentence of each paragraph. Para. 1: Para. 2: Para. 3: Para. 4: Para. 5: Task 2: Have students summarize the structure and the main idea of each part. (Purpose: Help students gain a general understanding of the structure and content of this reading material.) Task 4: Have students read Para. 4 and fill in the blanks about the change the Internet has brought about in social life.
