门神——守卫门户的神灵
门神是农历新年贴于门上的一种画类。 作为道教
和汉族民间共同信仰的守卫门户的神灵，人们都将
其神像贴于门上，用以驱邪辟鬼，卫家宅，保平安，
助功利，降吉祥等，是汉族民间最受人们欢迎的保护
神。道教因袭这种信仰，将门神纳入神系，加以祀奉.
新春伊始，第一件事便是贴门神、对联。每当大年
三十日（或二十九），家家户户都纷纷上街购买对联、
门神，有雅兴者自己也铺纸泼墨挥春，将宅子里里外外
的门户装点一新，表达了汉族劳动人民一种辟邪除灾、
迎祥纳福的美好愿望。
捉鬼类：门神多为神荼和郁垒，金鸡和老虎
祈福类：“左招财”“右进宝”祈福门神的画面，多是一些
吉祥物。如：画中的寿星，手持仙桃，面带慈笑。
道界类：左为青龙孟章神君，右为白虎监兵道君
武将类：秦琼又名秦叔宝，山东历城人，武艺高强，人称：
赛专诸，似孟尝，神拳太保，双锏大将，锏打山东
六府，马踏黄河两岸。尉迟恭，隋唐大将，武艺高
强，日占三城，夜夺八寨，功累封鄂国公。
文官类：我国以文官作门神的不多，其中最有名的就是包
公和文天祥。
