Bing Dwen Dwen, designed by CaoXue, is a baby panda. It wears a full-body "shell" made of ice. It looks like an astronaut, showing winter sports and modern technology. Bing Dwen Dwen also wears a sports helmet that helps look more active. On each hand, there is a red heart, showing kindness and love. And Bing Dwen Dwen waves its left hand to say hello. At first, they chose the traditional Chinese snack, bingtanghulu, as the mascot（吉祥物）. However, a simple snack itself cannot be a symbol of a country.
