跨学科整合
《义务教育英语课程标准(2022年版)》中提到“开展英语综合实践活动，提升学生运用所学语言和跨学科知识创造性解决问题的能力。引导学生结合个人生活经验和社会生活需要，围绕特定主题，由真实的问题或任务驱动，综合运用其他相关课程的知识自主开展项目学习。”跨学科整合在试题中的体现主要有数学(听力和阅读中的数字计算题)、语文和历史(介绍中国传统文化知识)、地理(常见于人与自然话题中)等。以下举例供同学们拓展思维。
Passage 1
语篇导读：本文是一篇说明文，主要介绍了衣服遇水颜色会变深的原理；文章旨在引导学生：拓展跨学科知识，多角度看待事物。
Have you ever poured water onto your shirt right before an important event Usually, clothes darken in color when they get wet.It would certainly be nice if the water didn't change the color of the clothes so much.But sadly, this isn't how things work.So why do clothes often appear darker when they get wet
Before understanding this question, we should first take a quick look at how we see colors.Take a red shirt as an example. When it is hit by the light from the sun, it takes in different wavelengths(波长) of the light, except for the red light wavelength.The red light wavelength is reflected to our eyes.That is why the shirt appears red to us.
Now let's return to the wet shirt.When the light hits a wet shirt, it has to pass through the water on the shirt.The light that should be reflected by the shirt is taken in by the water again.This means less light will be sent to our eyes.As a result, the shirt looks darker.
But remember, sometimes a wet shirt can seem brighter from some special angles(角度).The surface of a shirt is usually rough．Adding water to it makes it smoother.A smooth surface reflects light in a different way from a rough surface.So you may see a small and bright reflection of the light from a certain angle.So basically, a wet shirt will be darker than a dry one, but it can also appear more shiny at times.

语篇导读：本文是一篇说明文，主要介绍了撒哈拉沙漠的气候特点以及在撒哈拉沙漠的四条生存法则。
①Can you imagine a sea of sand three times bigger than India This is the Sahara Desert.It covers 11 countries in North Africa and is over 9 million square kilometers.That's more than 25% of Africa.
②In the Sahara, temperatures are very different during the day and at night.During the day, the hottest time is between 2 pm and 4 pm, when the temperature rises to 33℃.But it is very cold at night — the coldest time is at 4 am, when the temperature falls to －1℃.The Sahara is very dry.The average precipitation(降雨量) in a year is only 70 millimeters.
③Because of the temperatures in this desert, it is a very difficult place to survive.Here are some tips.
④Take warm clothes and a blanket.During the day, cover your body, head and face.Clothes protect you from the sun and keep water in your body.You will also need a warm blanket at night.It can get cold very quickly.When the temperature drops, it can be a shock and make you feel even colder.
⑤You can use your car tires(轮胎) to make a fire.A fire is easy to see.It will help people find you and it will keep you warm at night.
⑥Try to drink some water once every hour.You need your water to last as long as possible.Drink only when you need.When you talk, you lose water from your body.Keep your mouth closed and do not talk.
⑦If you eat, you will get thirsty and drink up all of your water more quickly.You can eat a little, but only to stop you from feeling very hungry.Eat very small amounts of food and eat very slowly.You can live for three weeks with no food, but you can only live for three days without water.
