教学难点 Ss can master the rules of forming adverbs from adjectives: (1) In general, add -ly, such as quick -- quickly; (2) y that ends with y is changed to i before adding -ly, such as happy - happily; (3) For adjectives ending in e, delete e and add -ly, such as true -- truly, etc. (4) Most adjectives ending in e, however, are still add-ly directly, such as polite -politely, wide - widely and so on.

Ⅰ.Warming up(6 minutes) 1.Greeting (the weather, date, day, mood…..) 2.Play the tape and let students sing the song—The Four Seasons together. 3.Ask some students some questions to revise the expressions of talking about the weather. Why do you like the season Because I can ..../ It is the best season to ... 4.Show a table of some cities, including the lowest temperature and the highest temperature, to students on the screen and let students make up a new conversation. Share dialogs to the whole class: What’s the temperature in ... The lowest temperature is ... The highest temperature is ... Ⅱ. Presentation(15 minutes) 1.Do 1a. Show the words in 1a.
