资源简介 新目标英语八年级(下) Unit9 ReadingHave you ever been to Singapore 一、教学内容概述本单元的学习目标是理解和运用句型"Have you ever been to...?和I've never been to..., 谈论现在完成时态。本单元的所有活动以“谈论过去的经历”为话题逐一展开。Section A部分设计了听力活动、俩俩对话活动,阅读一篇短文----你曾经去过迪斯尼乐园吗?从听说角度逐步让学生认识和熟悉本单元的核心句型,进一步发展学生的听、说技能。 Section B部分通过对英语学习目的关注,设计了两个听力活动,及短文阅读,帮助学生掌握如何运用现在完成时谈论过去的经历,从而进一步对学生运用各种时态谈论过去的经历进行了综合训练,培养其写作能力。本课时是这个单元的最后一课,是一篇较长的阅读文章,内容是向我们展示了东南亚的一个漂亮岛国—新加坡,通过读前顶习、进行阅读和读后检测等一系列阅读训练活动,培养学生获取信息的能力,同时巩固句型和扩大词汇量;在学生获取信息的基础上,引导学生欣赏和积累正确、地道的语言材料,为口语和书面表达奠定基础;同时培养学生了解世界风情的兴趣,树立热爱美好生活,热爱大自然的美好情怀和向往。二、教学目标分析(1)语言知识目标:能理解并运用以下词汇、词组。Noun: holiday, population, fox, environment, temperature, spring, summer, autumn, seasonVerb: wake, fearAdjective: wonderful, excellent, brave, Indian, natural, awakePhrases: take a holiday, three quarters, wake up, natural environment, all year round, Night Safari(2)能力目标:能听懂介绍新加坡的相关内容。能向他人介绍某个地方。能读懂文章,能够获取相关的信息。能根据所学知识为他人介绍自己的家乡或某个旅游城市。(3)情感、态度、价值观:通过课堂教学情景的创设,培养学生了解世界风情的兴趣,树立热爱美好生活,热爱大自然的美好情怀,增强对美好事物的追求和向往。同时学习如何向他人介绍自己的家乡或某个旅游城市,使语言学以致用,激发学习积极性。培养学生自主学习、合作学习,善于学习的习惯。三、学习者特征分析本单元学习的现在完成时是在第六单元的基础上进行的,学生有了一点基础。加之在Section A和Section B部分已通过听说读写等方式的操练,学生对运用现在完成时来谈论过去的经历有了一定的基础,只是在学以致用上还不够熟悉。绝大多数的学生都对旅游话题感兴趣,因此对于学习介绍新加坡的文章就会兴趣盎然。同时,八年级的孩子自我意识逐步增强,在情感方面能进行自我教育,渴望得到理解和尊重。他们具有较强的求知欲和好奇心,具有一定的语言积累和知识储备,在课堂上他们善于表现自我,乐于积极思考,敢于发表自己的观点,这些个性心理特点有利于师生在课堂上进行交流。四、教学策略选择与设计本节课主要是教学有关新加坡的阅读文章,谈论过去的经历。根据《英语新课标》的阅读要求,主要采用课文整体教学方式,重点培养学生的基本阅读技巧与阅读策略。学生对旅游话题和谈论过去的经历本来就很感兴趣,因此通过观看旅游短片来导入新课,激发学生的兴趣,为下面教学打下伏笔。在阅读前先教学新词汇,为理解文章扫除最基本的障碍。接着进行skimming, scanning 和 close-reading,帮助学生理解各段的主要意思,学习和不断呈现重点词汇和句型,归纳缩写文章,整体感知,进而从概括本文的篇章结构和关键词汇,句型引导学生拓展到如何描写介绍某个城市,之后给出一些资料让小组合作讨论大任务并汇报,完成语言的输出功能。教学方法:采用多媒体辅助教学、任务型语言教学途径等学习方法:自主学习、合作学习等五、教学资源与工具设计1. 视频短片 2. 多媒体教学课件3. 配套导学案六、教学过程教学过程 教师活动 学生活动 设计意图Step1 Leading in (Pre-task)(5mins) 1.
