一、教材内容分析
本课是第一单元的Using language部分Introduce someone you admire，在本课中学生将通过上节课已学过的课文The man who changed our understanding of the universe，了解伟大的物理学家Albert Einstein的生平事迹。与此同时，进一步了解人物介绍类文本的写作手法，并能有效运用篇章中的写作技巧提升其写作水平。
二、教学目标
Help ss understand the structure of an introduction to someone you admire. Help ss master some useful expressions and sentence patterns. Help ss improve their writing skills.
三、学情分析
本次授课对象为高二理六班学生，学生相对精讲班英语基础稍好些，但两级分化较明显。通过上节课课文的学习，学生基本能掌握介绍人物类文本的结构，也能够使用简单句进行人物描写，但是学生词汇匮乏，不会使用高级词组来组织语言，更不能灵活运用定语从句、倒装、分词作状语等高级句式进行表达。
