一、单元教材分析
本单元这部分要求学生继续掌握英文字母Aa—Hh，能正确熟读（结合音标）、书写以及按照字母表顺序熟悉这些字母的大小写。再次复习本单元出现的英文名字并熟悉相对应的人物。能掌握本单元所学的日常交际用语，重点学会打招呼（在一天中的不同时段，打招呼的内容又有所不同）、相互问候（How are you I’m ok\fine, thank you.）并做到语音语调正确。注意字母的发音并学会总结同类字母的发音规则。
二、单元学情分析
本单元围绕“问候他人”这一话题，展开听、说、读、写的教学活动。在这节的内容中，教材一开始就设置了一个听力内容，将前一节学习的打招呼Good morning!进一步上升到Good afternoon!\Good evening!实际上，就是在不同的语境中体现英语知识的运用。接下来，就是对该听力内容的对话练习，巩固所学知识。后来，在3c部分又设置了一个听力训练，旨在温故知新——复习如何打招呼，介绍如何问候他人。这一系列的设计由浅入深、由易到难，让学生们感知、认识英语，并尽快进入英语的环境中。而本单元的最后一页，主要是复习，从名字、字母及其发音到情景交际用语（打招呼、问候），很好地巩固了所学知识。
三、单元教学建议
采用自主学习、小组合作学习、游戏、pair work等方式开展听、说、读、写的学习活动。教师要尽量利用幻灯片、实物、视频、音频等给学生创造较为真实的英语情景，并适当运用任务型教学活动、突出交际性。教师可以用手势，表情，动作等示意，帮助学生听懂课堂用语和日常交际用语，为以后的英语课堂打好坚实的基础。
四、单元课时分配
本单元可用2课时完成教学任务：
Period 1 (1a-2e) 第一课时
Period 2 (3a-4d) 第二课时

一、教学目标：
1、语言知识目标：
（1） 能掌握以下词汇：字母Aa ~ Hh, good, morning, afternoon, evening , how , is , are , you , fine , thank , hi!, hello!
（2） 能掌握以下句型：Good morning, Helen!\ Hello, Frank!\Hi, Bob! Good afternoon!\ Good evening!\ How are you \ Fine , thanks.\ I’m OK , thank you!
（3） 能根据语境灵活运用打招呼的各种用语。
（4） 能掌握字母Aa ~ Hh的字母顺序、读音及发音规律。
2、情感态度价值观目标：
通过教学，让学生在听、说、读练习中，学会礼貌待人，与同学友好相处。
二、教学重难点
1、教学重点：
（1）、学习见面时根据不同的场景，用英语来打招呼，做到灵活运用、收放自如。
（2）、学习掌握字母Aa ~ Hh的字母的读音规则并运用实际找到最近所学单词中与之相同的发音部分。
2、 教学难点：
（1）、学习掌握Good morning!\Good afternoon!\Good evening!\ Good night!等问候语。
（2）、学习掌握如何礼貌地询问他人的身体状况及回答。
（3）、Aa-Hh字母的发音情况要牢牢掌握。
三、教学过程
I. Lead in
Review what we have learned yesterday.
对话练习：假如你是Helen，你早上遇见了Dale.试着编写一个对话。
Conversation:
Helen : Good morning , Dale!
Dale: Good morning , Helen!
思考：如果Helen和Dale的遇见是在中午或者晚上呢？
（温故知新，用提问的导入新课，留给学生思考的空间。)
II. Presentation
T: Now , let’s listen to the three conversations to find out the answer.
Play the recording twice , students just listen for the first time , then they listen and follow the tape for the second time.
T: How do we greet people in the afternoon
Ss: Good afternoon!
T: How about in the evening.
Ss: Good evening!
Then the teacher explain something about “morning” , “afternoon” , “evening” , “night” , Students listen carefully and then take some notes.

Practice the conversation in 3a.

关于How are you 的用法
和Hello , Hi一样，how are you 也是一种打招呼用语，它类似于How are you doing 一般用于熟人见面时询问身体健康状况，翻译为“你好吗？”、“你身体好吗？”
常见的回答方式有以下几种:
1. Fine, Thanks.
2. Fine, thank you. How are you
3. Fine, thanks. And you
4. I’m fine, thank you.
5. I’m OK. Thanks.
温馨提示：除fine外，还有OK, 表示健康。I’m OK. = I’m fine.
关于Thanks的用法
Thanks=Thank you.用于表达感谢，翻译为“谢谢”。

教学反思：
这是开学初的第二节课，相对于第一堂课，同学们的积极性有所提高，但参与面还是不够广。另外，内容稍显丰富，课堂时间有点儿紧，学生一边记笔记，一边学习和消化知识的习惯还有待进一步培养。
