一、教材内容分析
This lesson is from NSE Book 1 and well organized around computer. Unit1 is the first lesson focused on listening and speaking. I’ will help train students listening skills of understanding the instructions and giving proper responses; Second, they will mastered the speaking skills of giving instructions in clear order with a flow chart. After the lesson, they will increase the logic thinking and improve their English learning through the new technology, like computers and Internet.
二、教学目标
For the Knowledge Aims： New Words: computer, keyboard, mouse, document, print, connect, first, next finally etc. Expressions: click the mouse, connect…to, save the document etc. Sentences: How do I write my homework on the computer What do I do next For the Ability Aims：1. To give a brief introduction about how to use a computer in English; 2. To ask the process of using a computer;For the Moral Aims：1. Make good use of the Internet to learn English.2. Have a positive attitude towards the computer games
三、学习者特征分析
The students have learned English for many years. They can understand some words and some sentences. And I want to attract their interests and make them love English and feel confident in this subject. I will play a game or have a competition. I can encourage them to express themselves better. Besides this, the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing can also be developed.
四、教法与学法分析
I think if I want to improve the Ss’ oral English, I should give them enough chances to practice and I’ll give the Ss some tasks and arrange six kinds of activities: talking, guessing games, acting, Pair work，surveying and Reporting. That is “Learning by doing, Learning by using”. Let the students be the master of the class. And Teaching special features are to use these methods are helpful to develop the Ss’ thought.Our Ss are relatively lack of the cultural background of English. As Middle School Ss they have a certain ability to read, but they are poor in cooperative learning skills. Some Ss are not active enough in class. Therefore I’ll have Ss study in a relaxed atmosphere. Ss understand the new knowledge through the mental process of hearing, saying, observing, doing and thinking. That is to say, let Ss study language by “Observation-Imitation-Practice” approach.
五、教学环境及资源准备
The teaching syllabus says that it’s necessary for teachers to use modern teaching facilities. It’s of great help to increase the class density and improve our teaching result. So this class I’ll use Multi-media computer, Tape recorder, Software, PowerPoint and so on. They will be needed in this lesson.

Save the work and write a name for it.Learn to send an e-card to Ms. Liu after class. 引出电脑话题，激发学生兴趣。通过图片，学习单词（电脑的组成部分）学习词汇过程中，灌输构词法的知识（合成词，与-er名词词根）将电脑图标与英文单词对应，帮助学生认识和记忆单词。同时，展示相关词组，为课文的学习降低难度，起到铺垫。通过询问用电脑都可以做些什么，引出课文的话题“如何在电脑上做作业”学习课文后，让学生通过阅读老师提供的英文指示来寻找预先存在电脑里的习题文件，打开并答题。这种任务型学习更能激起学生兴趣，使学生在不知不觉中既检测了学生对电脑英文指令的理解，也达到了做练习的目的。

八、教学反思
Under the new curriculum standard in middle school English teaching, teachers should cultivate and maintain student thick interest in learning, seize the opportunity, render English classroom atmosphere, arouse students' interest and curiosity, study the textbook fully, and prepare for the class carefully. Of course increasing interest in each aspect of teaching is also very important. Teachers should also pay attention to the “people oriented” to let students play the main role. We can establish new relationship and pay attention to the importance of affective communication between teachers and students, so that students can cultivate much interest in textbook. And we can also develop different kinds of after-school activities with extensive content. As we know, interest is the best teacher, so a successful English teacher should consciously train the student in the teaching of English lasting interest, encourage students to learn in a good state to make them be interested in English study. So classroom teaching methods must be constantly updated.
