指导思想与理论依据
义务教育《英语课程标准》（2011年版）指出，基础教育阶段英语课程的任务，是激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣，树立自信心，尤其对于初中学生，应更加注重培养和保护他们的学习积极性、主动性。英语新课程标准(2017年版)提出全面贯彻党的教育方针、落实立德树人根本任务、发展英语学科核心素养、培养社会主义建设者和接班人。本节课以上述两点为指导思想和理论依据，教师在深入研读教材的基础上，通过听说活动，以问题引导学生进行深入思考，力求课堂活动的设计有明确的交流目的和实际交流意义，内容、形式贴近学生的生活，强调学习过程，激活学生的思维，重视语言学习的实践性，在实践中逐步实现语言的内化和语言技能的发展，从而提升实际语言运用能力，进一步提升学生的思维品质。在学生讨论、合作学习过程中渗透善于合作、乐于助人的优良品质。
教学背景分析
教学内容：本节课的教学内容源于外语教学与研究出版社出版的义务教育教科书《英语》八年级上册Module 12 Help的第一单元。本模块授课内容以“安全和急救”为话题， 第一单元的对话围绕詹姆士老师和同学们假设一起事故，讨论施救措施展开。本单元是关于如何做急救的，学生通过听力练习，可以了解一些实用的急救方法，并且使用情态动词表示推测，以及使用祈使句表示建议和指导。不仅可以帮助学生在关键时刻自救，而且还能提高其救助他人的意识和能力。 学生情况：本节课的授课学生是我校八年级（2）班的学生。学生总共有13名同学，他们课堂比较内向，其中4名同学基础稍好，比较积极参与活动，4名同学基础一般，参与发言讨论的主动性不够，4名同学基础较弱，需要师生的共同帮助，1名同学是随班就读生。经过初中一年多的英语听说技能训练，学生已经具备一定的听说能力，学生在日常的安全教育中已经具备了基本的急救常识，但是用英语来叙述和表达急救方法肯定有一定难度。在七年级下册Module 11中已经接触过祈使句，所以对于学习祈使句给建议的已经有了一定语言基础。但是对于情态动词表示推测的主要语言点接触较少，掌握起来有一定难度。 突破途经： 1、采取小组合作学习； 2、先让学生感知语言点的使用，再引导学生总结用法； 3、通过完成说的任务增加说的技能训练，表演时引导使用重点句型进行语言输出。 教学方式：本节课采用的教学方式包括：师生互动和小组活动。 教学手段：主要采用多媒体和学案辅助。 技术准备：电脑、PowerPoint课件。
教学目标
在本节课结束后，学生能够： 通过听对话，获取对话的主旨大意和具体信息； 在谈论急救方法时，运用祈使句表达叮嘱、劝告、建议、禁止或希望等，并能运用could、 must表示推测和猜测；表演急救对话； 树立安全意识，了解实用急救方法，提升自救和树立救助他人、善于合作的意识和能力。
教学重难点
教学重点：通过听对话，获取关于急救的具体实施方法、步骤与注意事项； 教学难点： 1. 复述急救的具体实施方法、步骤与注意事项； 2. 正确运用祈使句的肯定形式和否定形式以及情态动词could、must谈论基本急救方法和建议并表演。
