一、教学内容分析 本课是八上第四模块的第二单元,语法项目着重学习形容词、副词的最高级的构成及运用,并在第一单元谈论交通工具的基础上,进一步谈论人们出行选择适合的交通方式。
二、教学目标1.语言知识目标:Key vocabulary:journey、book、outside、choice、however、costKey structure:Superlative adjectives and adverbs(-est,most)2.能力目标:能够读懂有关旅游和交通工具的文章;能够用形容词、副词最高级形式对交通方式进行对比;了解不同的交通方式,增强便利出行意识。3.学习策略: 能够注意发现语言现象规律,并能运用其造句;学习单词时,可以按类别整理单词和词组,提高单词学习效率。4.情感态度价值观: 主动了解英语国家有关的旅游交通方面的信息,并将之与自己的日常生活联系起来,拓展视野,选择合理、安全的出行方式。
三、教学重难点 本单元话题相关的key words,提问出行方式的句子和相应答语--What's the cheapest way to ... --The cheapest way is ...
四、教学策略选择与设计 设置活动让学生去研究文本,提高学生分析语篇,解决语篇问题的能力,注重语言输入和输出的一致性。遵循两个原则:1.递进有效,对学生思维和语言能力培养要体现层次;2.引导学生回归文本寻找根据。

Step1.Let's review.cheap__late___busy___big_ comfortable__carefully___ Students say them one by one ,and then make sentences. 本活动是为了对第一单元的最高级进行复习,为本课的文章起到铺垫。
Step2. Warm upT:I want to Chongqing. How do you get there What’s the cheapest way to get there What’s the best way to get there Student work in pairs and discuss the questions.Then students show. 本活动目的在于激活话题,为课文阅读提供引子,导入课文,通过题目谈论并预测文章内容,激发学生学习兴趣,调动学习积极性。
Step3.Listening and pre-reading.Listen and repeat,pay attention to your pronunciation. Students listen carefully and repeat. 本活动纠正学生发音,初步了解文章大概内容,进一步熟悉本单元话题。
Step4.While-reading.(1)Fast reading.Read the passage and answer the questions.(2)Careful reading.Question : Read this part of the passage and fill in the blanks and translate .1.The more information,the better.(译为汉语)2.__ ___(much)you pain(付出),___ ___(much)you will gain.(收获)Best answer : Read Para. 1 and check the sentences true or false.(1)Traveling by train from London to Amsterdam is a lot cheaper than by car and by ship.( )(2)You must buy your ticket a long time before your travel by train. Step5.Post-reading.Do excises 3 & 4 and check the answers in class. Finish the exercises and check answers in the groups. 意图:总管全文,巩固文章所学内容。
Step6.Retell the text. Students Fill in the blanks and then retell the text according to the mind map. 再次巩固本节课所学内容。
Step7.Homework Making a holiday plan for a family trip to a city in China. 学生通过动手、动脑运用所学知识。
