资源简介 Do you collect anything 教学设计教学年级:八年级课题名称:Module 6 Hobbies Unit 1 Do you collect anything 教材版本:外语教学与研究出版社授课时间:45分钟课型:听说课型(一)学生分析1. 本班大部分学生对英语较感兴趣,能积极参加各种活动,有一定的综合表达能力,能够用英语进行一些话题的讨论、调查、报告、情景会话和角色扮演等。2. 有少部分同学基础较差,因此在位置安排上,应把他们平均分配到各组,让优生带动他们的学习,设计任务时应由易到难,难易适中。3. 课前安排好座位,以6人一个小组,围着坐的形式,让学生在上课过程中小组合作和交流更加容易开展。(二)教材分析Do you collect anything 是佛山市初中英语教材八年级下册Module 6 Hobbies第一单元的内容。本单元所学的words、phrases and patterns 比较贴近学生生活,文中充满了紧跟时代步伐的文句表达,容易引起学生共鸣,激发学生兴趣。(三)教学目标1. 认知目标(1)掌握单词:stamp, shelf, have a look, as ,coin, pound, dollar, valuable, just, fan, tidy up, note, must...(2)掌握短语:a bit of a mess,have a look,show you my stamps,as much as, show my stamps to you ,something important,give me fans / give fans to me, take up(3)掌握句型: What is your hobby My hobby doesn’t cost as much as yours .It’s a bit of a mess.People also collect things just to remember something important in their life.2. 能力目标:(1)能听懂有关爱好的谈话,并能从中提取信息;(2)能询问他人爱好并介绍自己的爱好;能够充分利用自己的爱好促进英语学习;(3)通过学习,了解不同民族的人有着不同的爱好,这与其不同的历史和文化有关,从而培养学生的文化意识;(4)通过谈论爱好,引导学生培养良好的兴趣爱好,促进学生的全面发展。3. 情感态度目标:(1)通过学习What’s your hobby句型,培养学生与他人沟通,学会合作的能力。(2)通过谈论爱好,引导学生培养良好的兴趣爱好,促进学生的全面发展。4. 学习策略目标能通过小组合作训练、小组对话训练、记者采访等学习方式,与同学、老师交流学习体验;能主动练习讨论自己的兴趣爱好并且课后能尝试完成调查亲朋好友、左邻右舍的兴趣爱好,从而完全掌握所学语言知识和技能。5. 文化素养目标通过对本节课的单词、短语、句型、交际用语的学习,帮助学生学会用英语描述人的兴趣爱好,并通过描述、介绍这些与人沟通的方式。(四)教学策略本节课借助多媒体,运用情景、听说、直观、活动等方法创设教学情景,用“导”、“引”方式去调动学生积极参与,让学生在做和比赛中学英语,整个教学过程贯穿评价机制,给积极发言的个人和小组进行适当的加分,让学生体验成功,感受学习英语的乐趣,培养学生团队意识,提高学生主动性和参与性,增强学习的积极性。(五)教学重难点1. 教学重点:通过各种活动,练习询问别人爱好和介绍自己的爱好的句型。2. 教学难点:活动中运用的单词、句型,并能过以短文的形式来表达自己的爱好。(六)教学过程Teacher's Activities Students' ActivitiesPre-listening Step:1 Enjoy a micro-videoT: Is the song beautiful Do you know the name of the song Yes, the name of the song is Hobbies. Our topic today is about hobbies. Answer the questions and sing after the song.Purpose 微视频歌曲不仅能起到暖场的作用,还能把学生吸引到课堂上来,激发他们的学习英语的积极性。另外,歌曲内容正好引出本课时的话题“hobbies”。Step 2: Check the pre-class exercises on 2. Teacher teach students to read the words that they can’t pronounce well. Listen to the teacher and watch the result.Purpose 这个环节是对课前预习检查结果的展示。课前,笔者通过翼课智能化同步教学平台布置课前练习,学生通过做练习对本课堂进行预习。布置的练习有配套的词汇练习、听力练习和口语练习。在这个环节中翼课智能化同步教学平台的优势得到了充分的发挥,通过“一键批阅”功能迅速获得全班的数据结果,能够有的放矢地调节本课堂的教学重点。Step 3: Guessing gameT: Let’s have a competition. I will show the picture to you. If you know how to pronounce and spell the words , please stand up and say them loudly. And I’ll decide which group is the winner. Are you ready (激励机制:老师对积极参与的小组组进行表扬加分) Students will stand up and say the words if they can guess what the picture is.Purpose (1)Guessing game 能活跃调动课堂气氛,初中生尤其喜欢竞技性的课堂活动;(2)课前预习过得词汇在这个环节得到了重视和巩固,为后面的听说环节做好了铺垫;(3)后进生也能参与到课堂中来,让他们也有表现的机会,增强他们的学习自信心,同时有利于提升小组合作的凝聚力,和荣誉感。Step 4: Lead- inT: What does Mr. Liang like What is Mr. Liang’s hobby (giving another two examples ) T: Do you know what my hobby is (showing some pictures about swimming)T: Yes, you’re right. But what about Tony, Tony’s Dad or Tony’s mum Let’s listen to the dialogue and find out the answer. Ss: He likes collecting notes. His bobby is collecting notes. Ss: He likes playing football. His bobby is to play football. Ss: They like playing basketball. Playing football is their hobby. Ss: Your hobby is swimming.Purpose: 笔者选用了学生都熟悉的同学的图片进行导入新课,既带动了课堂气氛,也科学,有效的导入了新课,所操练的关于爱好的句子为下个环节听力的成功输入铺垫,能让学生更易于获取听力的信息,掌握听力的内容,大大的降低了听力的难度。While-listening (Task 1) T: Listen and find out who collect the things in the box. (Task 1)The whole class gives the answers.One student give the answers to the three questions.(Task 2) Ask some students to give the answers.Purpose 作为听说课,在学生能够恰当地输出目标语言前,笔者需为他们提供适当的语篇输入。因此笔者在这一环节选取了两个语篇材料,设计了四次听力输入,使学生能够有充足的时间,充分地机会感受目标语言的实用,为后面的语言输出做好了铺垫。为了降低听力的难度和与广东英语中考接轨,笔者把听力作了适当的调整,把听力材料也设计成单项选择题和听填信息卡这两个题型。(激励机制:老师对积极举手回答问题的个人和小组进行表扬加分)Post-listeningStep 1: Reading competitionT: Now, let’s have a reading competition. Let’s see which group do the best.(激励机制:老师对朗读较好的组进行表扬加分)T: Do you have any questions about the dialogue (激励机制:老师对朗读较好的组进行表扬加分) Each group stands up and reads the dialogue loudly.Some students ask questions while some students answer the questions.Purpose 学生大多都在课前使用翼课进行跟读,学生显著提升了自主纠音能力和强化了重读发音技巧,翼课智能平台可以把每位学生的跟读录下来进行打分。老师可以及时看到反馈,针对学生的不同语音问题进行有效的课堂反馈与纠正以及课下的个别辅导,可以说是传统课堂教学与信息技术的有机结合。另外,本环节设计的朗读比赛能再一次活跃课堂,让各层次的学生积极参与到课堂中来,充分调动了他们的集体主义精神,小组各成员间互相帮助,体现了小组合作的强大作用。 笔者还设计了Ask and Answer 环节,让学生用英语提出问题,然后学生争取机会用英语进行解答,意图在于让学生进一步熟识对话内容,同时进行初步的输出。Step 2: Retelling T: Complete the passage with the correct form of the words in the box. Many people collect things, like postcards and toys. They like to put them (1) __________ special to look at. Lingling collects fans and keeps them on a (2) ____ in her bedroom. Each student prepares for the retelling task.Purpose 为了让学生进一步熟识对话内容,突出本课时的重难点,笔者特意把文本进行了改编,通过语篇的形式巩固本单元的重点词汇,同时还可以加深学生对听力内容的理解,也为了让学生体会如何写总结性文段为下一环节的输出做铺垫。Step3: CooperationT: Please pay attention to your group task. First, finish the task by yourself, and then discuss them with your group partners. After that ,show your product. At last, tell us why. 合作探究-展示点评1. Students finish the exercises by themselves.Then check the answers together and ask some students to tell why.Purpose 本环节所设计的练习都是本节课所出现的重难点词组和句型,旨在检验学生是否掌握重难语言点,能够帮助学生更好的进行语言的交际,也是对知识的输出过程。Step5: Summary T: Well, boys and girls, let’s invite our monitor to tell us what we have learned today. T:You’ve done a pretty good job. Let’s see which group is the best. Monitor reports what they have learned.Purpose 在summary中,笔者邀请学科班长对已学的知识进行重温归纳,然后把grammar focus再次呈现给学生,达到了归纳新课程语言的效果!同时就这个grammar focus我设计了一个chant, 以郎朗上口的chant回顾总结整个课的重点,在尾声,能起到点题并再次拉回学生的注意力的作用,学生记忆效果好。Step 6: Homework Write down the homework.Purpose 设计一个简单的读写综合练习,有较好的信息输入和输出训练。让学生通过朗读和快速阅读,将信息补充完整。这环节把课堂教学和新课标紧密结合,让学生在课后训练阅读和写作能力,提高他们理解、收集、整理和传递信息的能力,进一步巩固有关好爱的表达。(7)课后反思1. 整节课气氛活跃,课堂的引入自然、新颖、内容真实,老师从学生身边熟悉的同学的照片入手,引起学生的兴趣,图片的出现也让学生欣然接受新的知识点,师生双边关系融洽,学生能在轻松、和谐的气氛中学习英语,表现自我,感受学习的乐趣,更能激发学习兴趣。2.本课以任务型语言教学为原则,以学生为主体,让学生在做和比赛中学英语,如本节课设计了三个主要任务,一个是guessing game, 第二个是reading competition, 第三个是pair work-interview-report系列活动,在三个任务中老师充当参与者、指导者,主要由学生完成,让学生在体验、参与、合作与交流中培养综合运用语言的能力。3. 通过笔者的带读训练结合翼课智能平台的大数据加持,学生显著提升了自主纠音能力和强化了重读发音技巧。翼课智能平台可以把每位学生的跟读录下来进行打分。老师可以及时地看到反馈,针对学生的不同语音问题进行有效的课堂反馈与纠正以及课下的个别辅导,可以说是传统课堂教学与信息技术的有机结合。4. 教师注重对学生学法指导和语言延伸能力的训练,采用了自主学习、合作学习、探究学习相结合。听前,听中,听后三个环节,不同任务的精心设置以及听力环节中的听关键词和口语交际时的半开放话题布置,使得本课时学习由浅入深、由易到难、由课本到课外,做到了环环相扣,层层递进。5. 充分训练了学生的听、说、读、写能力,尤其在读写综合部分设计较好。设计一个课后读写综合内容,把课堂教学内容和新课标理念紧密结合,让学生在课后复习中,训练阅读、提取信息、整理信息、仿写短文的能力,本环节让学生较好地从课堂操练进入课后书面练习,效果较好。6. 本堂课教学仍有不足之处。一是时间分配稍显不合理,稍微有些前松后紧;二是在语言输入环节中,对于学生语言能力的分析不够,导致语言输入不充分;在语言输出环节中,学生输出不够顺畅。 展开更多...... 收起↑ 资源预览
