课题(Topic) Unit 2 I was trying to pick it up when it bit me again.
教材分析(Analysis of the teaching materials) 【What】本文主要围绕厨师Henry被蛇咬的事件展开。文章在开头交代了Henry被蛇咬的起因。Henry一共被蛇咬了两次,第一次是工作时被蛇咬,第二次是他尝试捡起蛇时被咬。第二次被咬后,Henry拿出手机,快速拍下蛇的照片。这一举动拯救了他的生命。因为当他感到疼痛去医院时,医生不确定是哪种蛇咬了他。于是Henry拿出他拍的照片。医生把照片发给动物园,动物园马上帮助医生辨认出蛇的种类,医生给他开了药,很快他就出院了。最后,文章末尾给出建议,如果被蛇咬了,记得拿出手机或相机拍下蛇的照片给医生看。【Why】本文通过诙谐幽默的语言介绍Henry被蛇咬的故事,让读者记住被蛇咬后应该如何自救,知道如何应对或规避意外,懂得面对意外时要保持冷静,保持理智,想到合适的方法应对意外的发生。【How】本文是一篇记叙文,全文可以分为三个部分。第一部分(第1-2段)交代文章的背景,包括人物、时间、地点等。第二部分(第3-6段)具体交代事情发生的经过。第三部分(第7段)提出如果遇到被蛇咬应如何应对的建议。作者使用了表示时间顺序的词汇,如:One day, A few days earlier, When, While, As, As soon as来描述事情发生的经过。标题和文末最后一句运用了幽默的描写方式,让读者对文中的自救方法更加印象深刻。引用Henry的话增加事件的真实性,突出Henry遇事冷静的性格品质。采用词汇如:suddenly, quickly, as soon as 等突出事件发生的紧急性。文章主要采用了一般过去时和过去进行时描述事件发生的经过。
