教学目标
1.Enable the students to read, say and write these phrases: went to a party, sang and danced, played games, read a storybook, saw a film.
2. Grasp the sentence pattern: “What did you do last weekend I…”.
3. Enable the students to mater the key dialogue and they can perform the dialogue skillfully.
4.Enable the students to keep their interested in English through listening, saying, reading, and acting the dialogue..

The students can understand teacher's meaning easily.
重点难点

2.Enable the students to read, say and write these phrases: went to a party, sang and danced, played games, read a storybook, saw a film.
教学过程
Step1 Warm up
Play a video: interview the teachers and the students. “What did they do last weekend ”
Show the pictures about the teachers and the students, and play the recording one by one. Let the students answer “ What did you do last weekend ” according to the recordings.
Step 2 Presentation and practice
According to the students’ answers, the teacher teaches the sentences.
I played games.
I read a storybook.
I went to a party.
I sang and danced.
I saw a film.
Let the students match.

saw a film. sing and dance
The teacher shows the right answer and gives “original form and past form.”
The teacher introduces the past tense.
To consolidate the key sentence patter, the teacher changes the presents with the students.
I made some cookies last night. What did you do last night
Let’s chant.
Go, go, where did you go
Went, went, I went to a party.
Do, do, what did you do
Played, played, I played games.
Do, do, what did you do
Sang, danced, I sang and danced.
Eat, eat, what did you eat
Ate, ate, I ate food.
Step 3 Master dialogue
Let the students listen to the dialogue, and put the phrases in right order.
A. sang and danced
B. went to a party
C. ate a lot of food
D. played games
E. Read a storybook
Give the students one minute. Let the students read the dialogue silently and answer the questions:
Whose party was it
How were their weekends
Let the students read the dialogue loudly and fill in the blanks winthin two minutes.
What did Linda’s friends and Billy do
Linda’s friends _____________________,
_____________________,
_____________________,
_____________________.
Billy ________________.
Ask the students to read the dialogue follow the tape and imitate the pronunciation and intonation.
Ask the students to read the dialogue in roles. Give the students two minutes to practise with his/her team members.
Let the students perform the dialogue in roles in front of other teachers and students..
Let the students try to read the dialogue when there are some missing words in the dialogue.
Let the students recite the dialogue according to the hints
The teacher shows a short composition for students:
My birthday party
I had a birthday party last week.
My friend, Coco, cooked a delicious meal.
My friend, Lily, bought a cake.
Other friends gave me presents.
We sang and danced happily.
Let the students write their own compositions like that one within four minutes.

10. Choose some students read the composition, then paste it on the blackboard.
