The visit to the exhibition “Meet the Chinese Opera” in the City Museum was really eye-opening and enlightening.
Wandering through the museum, I was impressed by the diversity of Chinese opera, ranging from widely-known Peking opera and Shaoxing opera to some locally-known opera styles. Not only were large-size photos everywhere, vividly showcasing the historical development and distinctive charm of each opera, video clips featuring classic pieces also immersed me in the profound culture of drama and ignited my enthusiasm about Chinese opera.
The exhibition was a magical journey of traditional art. I sincerely hope that more events like this can be held and, if possible, live performances can be included to add vitality to the exhibition.

This online concert is absolutely fantastic. The performers from the two schools have done their best in entertaining the audience with one song after another. Their performances are undoubtedly of high quality, which makes the concert almost no different from a live one. I enjoyed every second of the concert and was particularly attracted when the boys and girls from Britain started to sing the traditional Chinese song "Liang Zhu". They performed the song in away that touched my heart and gave me a feeling of connection.
