Practise the language needed for the task and demonstrate the steps by using the pictures at each step of the task.Part APupils get into groups. They talk about what to do to be a good citizen. They can look at the hints given on the task sheet.They fill in the mind map on the task sheet.Part BIndividually, pupils make a bookmark. They choose one situation from the mind map. They draw a picture and write dialogues for the situation on the bookmark which is on the Copymaster. Then they write a caption underneath.Less able pupils can refer to Chapter 2 of the Pupil’s Book for ideas and the language needed for this part.They cut out the bookmark and stick it on a piece of cardboard. They make a hole on the bookmark and put a ribbon through the hole.Part CThen they give the bookmark to a schoolmate in Primary 1 or 2.More able pupils could make more than one bookmark.Get into groups. Talk about being a good citizen.
