Revise the text type ‘menus’ on page 47 of the Pupil’s Book with pupils.Part APupils find out about one new food from a country they know.Pupils draw or bring a picture of the food to class.Pupils get into pairs. They show each other their picture and ask and answer questions about the food in the picture.Part BPupils get into groups of six and make a menu using the food items that their group members have found out.They write down the menu on the Copymaster.More able pupils could add more food to the menu or find out food for another menu by themselves.Part CStill in their groups, pupils role-play ordering the food on their group’s menu.Find out about a dish / food item from a country you know.
