课型：阅读课
学习目标：
1.通过情景导入将图片和单词匹配，积累不同表示情感的形容词。
2.通过题目和图片作prediction,并通过skimming 和scanning等阅读策略，获取文章主旨大意和细节信息,提高阅读理解能力。
3.通过文本阅读Han Jing开学第一天的经历和情感变化，学会表达自己开学第一天的经历和感受。
教学重难点：
重点：通过skimming 和scanning等阅读策略，获取文章主旨大意和细节信息, 引导学生梳理主人公Han Jing开学第一天的经历和心情；
难点：帮学生理解并学会运用一定的词汇表达自己开学第一天的经历和感受。
高考考点：
积累表示情感的形容词，通过skimming 和scanning阅读策略提取文章信息做高考阅读题。
教学流程：
Step 1.Pre-reading:(6 mins)
Activity 1.Lead in
The teacher ask the students how they felt on the first day of school, and show some emojis on the ppt and connected them with corresponding English words. And add more emojis and words to let students connect. Finally, teacher guide the students to classify these adjectives into memory.
Q: How did you feel on your first day of senior high school
目的：引入并熟悉话题，学习生词，为阅读文本做准备。
Activity 2.Prediction:
Student look at title and pictures to predict the content and structure of the text. Guess the source of the text according to the text genre.
Q: What do you think Han Jing talks about in the text the title and the pictures？Can you guess where the text is taken from？
目的：通过题目和图片预测文章内容，降低阅读难度。
Step 2.While-reading：(24 mins)
Activity 1.
Students read the text quickly and check the predictions.
Activity 2. Skimming
Students read the text quickly again and answer the questions.
Q: 1. What does the text mainly tell us ( multiple choice)A
A. Han Jing's feelings on her first school day.
B. Han Jing's math teacher made a deep impression on her.
C. Han Jing was anxious and awkward at the first school day.
D. Han Jing made new friends at Senior High School.
2.Match the main ideas with each paragraph.
3.draw pictures to show Han Jing's feelings on her first school day.
目的：通过略读提取要点，并从文本消息中得出文章大意和段落大意。
Activity 3.Scanning
Teacher ask students to read the text carefully and answer the following questions.
Q: 1. Why did Han Jing feel anxious before school
2. How was her first maths class
3. What happened in the chemistry class What would you do if this happened to you
4. What did Han Jing learn from her first day in senior high school
目的：通过细读获取文章细节信息。
Activity 4.
The teacher guide the students to extract the key information in the text and complete the table in the activity. The students tried to retell Han Jing's experience and changes of mood at different times on the first day of school in complete sentences.
目的：通过填写表格并总结文章的信息，加深学生对文本记忆并巩固单词和语言表述，内化言语，为描述自己高中第一天的感受做准备。
Step 3.Post-reading (9 mins)
1.Teacher ask student to complete the form to describe themselves and try to describe their first day of high school using text words.
2.Finally, fill in the blank to summarize the whole passage.
目的：语言输出，内化言语，提高学生语言表达能力，学以致用将学习的语言应用于现实的实践,学会表达自己开学第一天的经历和感受。
Step 4.Homework( 1 mins)
1.Write a passage about your first day of senior high school according to your table.
2.Read and write the adjectives learned this class.（书上p4和p10)
目的：复习巩固课堂学习的单词和语言表达，内化语言。
