Reading&Thinking part2 教学设计
授课课题：Welcome Unit-Reading&Thinking part2（word study)
单元课时：共 6 课时
本节课时：第 3 课时
一、Learning objectives:
1.通过学习单词和短语的意义及用法，能够根据上下文选填正确的单词形式。（单词包括：
impression, confident, senior and concentrate on...）
2.通过了解中外高中生在开学之初的学习生活和感受，能够培养跨文化意识并树立积极向上的人生态度。
二、Teaching Key and Teaching Difficult Point
Teaching key points :
1. 学生在学习单词和短语的意义及用法后，能够根据上下文选填正确的单词形式。（单词
包括：impression, confident, senior and concentrate on...）
Teaching difficult points :
学生通过了解中外高中生在开学之初的学习生活和感受，能够培养跨文化意识并树立积极向上的人生态度。
三、Teaching Procedures
Step 1 Lead in (2minutes)
1. Review
(1) 图片回忆： 通过快速闪现单词图片的方法，帮助学生复习已学单词，包括 anxious,
annoyed, frightened...
通过情绪的变化，学生回忆 reading 部分的文本内容。
（Purpose：用图片展示单词的方式可以吸引学生的注意力，激发学生的学习兴趣。）
Step2 Presentation&practice（6+ 13minutes）
1. 语法学习
(1) Presentation+classification
首先老师询问以下四种句子分别属于何种句型，鼓励学生在文本中找到更多的类似句型并进
行分类。
区分四种基本句式：declarative sentences：I want to make a good first impression.
interrogative sentences: will I make any friends What if on one talks to me
imperative sentences: leave me alone.
exclamatory sentences: what a day!
最后引导学生归纳出四种句型各自的句型特点。
(2) Question+presentation
老师给出三个例句，询问分别是何种时态。（ 一般现在时，一般过去时和一般将来时）
引导学生归纳出三种时态的基本模式。
I want to make a good first impression.
We had our chemistry class in the science lab.
I think that tomorrow will be a great day!
（Purpose：通过梳理文本中句型和时态，帮助学生复习初中基础语法，衔接初高中知识。）
2. 词汇学习
presentation+practice
老师讲解重点单词 anxious, annoyed, impression....后，通过学生举手抢答完成填空题，从而
检验学习成果。
（Purpose: 帮助学生掌握重点单词语义,并熟悉单词的衍生词以及短语搭配。）
Step 3 Production（5+3+4+4minutes)
1. Filling: 根据上下文选择合适的词语，以正确的形式填入文本。教师邀请一位同学分享
答案，其它同学加以补充或纠正，教师最后公布答案。
（Purpose:检验学生对重点单词的学习成果，教师及时进行查漏补缺; 本文本可以帮助学生
了解在国外学习生活中高中生的情感变化，拓宽学生视野。）
2. Question
Q1:which grade should Tian Hua be in in America
A1: Grade 10.
Q2: Why (she is in grade 1 in China)
A2: Because the school system in America is different from China. Generally, senior high school is from the 9th to the 12th.
Q3: Why her first impression is that English is difficult and people spoke too quickly
A3: Because she didn’t talk with the native.
Teacher: Many non-native speakers have only been exposed to examples of English speakers who talk more slowly and clearly than usual. Therefore, in English study, we can watch some native
movies or listen to some native music.
（Purpose:引导学生发现中美教育体系的差异，培养学生跨文化意识。发现非母语学习者在
语言学习中的问题，鼓励学生尝试新的语言学习方法，提高学习能力。）
3. Multiple choice
Q：What feelings she has ABDEF

邀请一位同学表述 Tian Hua 的情感变化，其他同学可以进行补充。
（Purpose:由 Tian Hua 由消极向积极的态度转变，培养学生对高中学习，生活以及未来的积
极态度。）
4. Filling：学生对老师提供的复述文本进行填空，老师点拨文章结构并指出常用句型。
(Purpose: 帮助学生回顾 word study 的文本内容，并检验学生对词汇的掌握。）
Step5 Summary （2minutes）
教师总结课堂学习内容，最后点明：尽管国家地域有所不同但学生都应该树立积极向上的人
生观，并对高中学习、生活以及未来充满信心。
（Purpose: 通过梳理本节课的学习内容，一方面可以帮助学生快速回顾学习知识，形成知识体系，另一方面还可以培养学生的复习意识。）
Step 6 Homework (1 minutes)
完成限时训练中的习题
（Purpose :帮助学生巩固重点单词的用法。）
