英语句子复习之常用特殊疑问句归纳
特殊疑问句是把疑问代词what, who, whom, whose, which 或疑问副词when, where, how, why放在句首提问的句子，它不用yes 或no 来回答，而应该根据实际情况用较为完整的句子来回答。
当疑问词作主语或主语的定语时，特殊疑问句用陈述语序，即“疑问词（+被修饰的名词）+谓语+其它？”；当疑问词作其它成分时，特殊疑问句用倒装语序，即“疑问词+一般疑问句？”。注意朗读时用降调。
一、what 引导的特殊疑问句
what意思是“什么”，在句子中作主语、宾语、表语、定语等。例如：
What makes you think she is a nurse
什么使你认为她是个护士呀？（作主语）
What do you often do on Sunday
星期天你常做什么？（作宾语）
What’s the pretty young girl
那个漂亮的小姑娘是做什么的？（作表语）
What time does he go to school
他几点上学？（作定语）
此外，What 还可以表示“多少，多大，怎么样”等。例如：
What is the price of the computer
= How much is the computer
这台电脑多少钱呀？
What’s the population of China
= How many people are there in China
中国人口是多少？
What’s the area of Japan
日本有多大呀？
What do you think of your girl friend
= How do you like your girl friend
你女朋友怎么样呀？
二、who 引导的特殊疑问句
who意思是“谁”，既可指单数，也可指复数。在句中主要用作主语、宾语和表语。例如：
Who knows the answer to the question
谁知道这个问题的答案？（作主语）
Who are you waiting for
你在等谁呀？（作宾语）
Who is the gentleman
这位绅士是谁呀？（作表语）
温馨提示：
Who 作主语时，要根据代替词的性质决定谓语的形式。例如：
Who are in the sports meeting
谁参加了运动会？（说话和听话双方都知道有很多人）
Who is in her bedroom
谁在她的卧室里？（说话和听话双方不知道有人或有多少人）
三、how 引导的特殊疑问句
how 的意思是“怎样”，它引导的特殊疑问句可以用来询问各种情况：
1、问候。如：
-How do you do
“您好！”（用于初次见面的问候）
–How do you do
“您好！” （回答也用这句话）
-How is your dad
你爸爸好吗？
-Very well, thanks.
很好，谢谢。
2、询问程度方式，如：
-How do you like the film
这部电影怎么样啊？
-It’s very funny.
很搞笑哦。
-How do you usually go shopping
你通常怎样去购物？
-By bus.
乘公共汽车。
3、对距离长度的提问
常见的有：how far 多远；how long 多长；how wide 多宽；how deep 多深；how high 多高（常询问建筑物、山体的高度）；how tall 多高（常询问人、树等细长物体的高度）等。例如：
How far is it from Beijing to Hong Kong by air
从北京坐飞机到香港多远？
How long is the classroom
教室多长？
How wide is your desk
你的课桌多宽？
How deep is the Yangtze River
长江多深？
How high is Mount Tai
泰山多高？
How tall is Yao Ming
姚明多高？
4、对年龄的提问多用how old，例如：
How old are you
I’m sixteen.
5、对时间的提问
常见的有：how long 多久（提问一段时间）；how often 多久一次（提问行为活动的频率）；how soon 多久后（提问将来的某个时刻或一段时间）等。例如：
-How long did he watch TV lat night
–For about half an hour.
“昨天晚上他看电视多长时间？”
“大约半小时。”
-How often does he write to his pen pal
“他多久给笔友写一封信？”
-Sometimes/Every other day/Every week/Once a month.
“有时/每隔一天/每周/一月一次。”
-How soon will he come back
–In four days.
“他多久以后回来？”
“四天后。”
6、对数量方面的提问
常见的有：how many 多少（提问可数名词的数量）；how much 多少（提问不可数名词的数量或问价钱）；how heavy 多重（提问东西的质量）等。例如：
How many players are there in a football team
足球队有几名队员？
How much bread do you need
你需要多少面包？
How much is the color TV set
这台彩电多少钱？
How heavy is the elephant
这头大象多重？
7、用How about… 表示建议、请求、邀请或征求多方的意见，例如：
How about something to drink
喝点东西怎么样？
I’m outgoing. How about you
我外向，你呢？
8、用How come… 询问某事的发生是怎么回事，例如：
How come they came late yesterday
昨天他们迟到是怎么回事？
How come she is coming with you
她怎么没有和你们一块来？
四、why 引导的特殊疑问句
Why意思是“为什么”，用来询问原因、理由。例如：
Why are you late for class
你为什么上课迟到啦？
Why hasn’t she come here
她为什么还没来这儿？
温馨提示：
以why 引导的特殊疑问句，一般用because 引导的状语来回答。例如：
-Why do all the girls like him
-Because he’s so handsome.
“所有的女孩为什么喜欢他？”
“因为他很英俊。”
