预习教材Page 52,标注不认识的单词。然后翻到生词表,通过读和写基本了解本课时的单词。熟读1a中的单词和短语。
二、预习检测
根据句意及汉语提示完成句子
1.My brother wants to be an 　astronaut　(宇航员) in the future.
2.I’m going to buy a big 　apartment　(公寓套房) by the sea.
3.Is flying a 　rocket　(火箭) dangerous
4.Will we live on a 　space　(太空) station
5.We all love 　peace　(和平).
课堂教学
Step 1 Leading in
1.Ask the students some questions:
What will you do in the future
Where will you live
How will you go to work
Get some students to think and answer the questions.
2.Present some new words on the big screen.
3.Explain some main words to the students.Give some examples on the big screen.
Step 2 Work on 1a
1.Look at the form and read the headings to the class.Make sure the students know what they mean.
2.Guide the students to read the seven words.Explain the new words.
3.Ask the students to write each word in the correct column.Check the answers.
Step 3 Work on 1b
1.Ask the students to read the words already written in the chart.
2.Encourage the students to think about what they learned before and write some words in the chart in 1a.
3.Divide the class into four groups,and then let them have a competition.
Step 4 Work on 1c
1.Tell the students to listen to Alexis and Joe’s conversation and number the pictures from 1 to 3.
2.Play the recording for the students to number the pictures.
3.Play the recording again and check the answers with the students.
Step 5 Work on 1d
1.Ask the students to read the sentences in 1d.Play the recording again and tell the students they’ll listen to try to fill in the blanks with the words in the chart.
2.Play the recording again and check the answers with the class.
Step 6 Work on 1e
1.Let the students work in pairs.One is Alexis and the other is Joe.Talk about Joe’s life now,10 years ago and 10 years from now.
2.Ask some pairs of students to say their dialogues.

◇教学反思◇
在本节课中,学生们能够根据具体的语境选用动词的适当形式填空。在角色扮演中讨论乔现在的生活、十年前的生活和十年后的生活时,学生们热情高涨,踊跃发言,很好地锻炼了口语。但个别学生的听力需要加强,应在课后多加练习。
