Unit 1单词讲义
不定代词:
①some-类：something, somebody, someone ②every-类：everything, everybody, everyone
③any-类：anything, anybody, anyone ④no 类：nothing, nobody, no one, none
用法：(1) 不定代词若被定语(adj.或不定式to do)修饰，该定语要置于其后。
e.g. Did you see _______________________(一些有趣的事情) at the cinema
For lunch, we had_____________________(一些特殊的东西) -----Malaysian yellow noodles.
Do you need _________________(其他任何东西)
Does your mother have ___________________________(要说的)
由这四类构成的不定代词作主语时，谓语动词要用三单。
e.g. Something _________(be) wrong with my watch.
Well, everyone _____________(want) to win in the last competition.
Nobody __________(know) what the future will be like.
地点副词： somewhere, everywhere, anywhere, nowhere, home, here, there
时间副词：today， yesterday, the day before yesterday, this morning等
(地点副词、时间副词前不用介词)
去某个安静的地方___________________________
反身代词：
我自己myself 你自己 yourself 他自己himself 她自己herself 它自己itself
我们自己ourselves 你们自己 yourselves 他们自己 themselves
考点 1) 反身代词主要表示强调，把谓语的动作反射到主语或宾语上
一般主语和宾语为同一人时，通常用反身代词
短语搭配：by oneself 通过某人自己；亲自 enjoy oneself 玩的开心
lose oneself in...陶醉于.../沉浸于... make oneself at home 别客气，随便点
help oneself to sth. 请随便吃点...吧 for oneself 为了某人自己
dress oneself 自己穿衣服
e.g. Did Lucy cook dinner by ____________ The box ___________ is not so heavy.
4. wonderful=wonder+ful
①wonder v. 想知道=want to know e.g. I wonder where you live.
I wonder if you will go with me.
②wonder n. 奇迹，奇观 e.g. The Great Wall is _______________(奇观之一) in the world.
③-ful 形容词后缀 e.g. colorful, beautiful, helpful, useful, careful, hopeful, thankful
5. quite a few+可数名词复数 =many 许多名胜古迹_______________________________
quite a little+不可数名词=much 许多橙汁____________________________________
quite a lot of+可数/不可数名 许多书___________________ 许多肉_________________
quite a lot 副词短语，通常用来修饰动词，表示一种程度。 I like English ______________.
most ①many, much的最高级，表示“最多” many/ much---more---most
②代词，可做主语。 most+名词 most of+名词/代词
做主语时，谓语动词的单复数取决于其后名词的单复数。
e.g. 大多数孩子喜欢踢足球。________________/_______________ like playing soccer.
他们中大多数人把时间花在阅读上。 _________________ spend their time reading books.
③at most 至多，最多 at least 至少
We have nothing much to do but read.我们除了读书之外没事可做。
①nothing much to do没什么事可做，其中动词不定式to do在句中做后置定语，修饰nothing.
②but 连词 “除...之外” but前有实义动词do, does或did时，but后应接动词原形；but前无实义动词do,does或did时，but后应接动词不定式应带to
e.g. I have no choice but __________ (arrive) late. 除了迟到之外，我别无选择。
Last evening, I did nothing but ___________(watch) TV.
have nothing to do but do 无事可做，只好.... have no choice but to do 除...别无选择
seem v. ①seem(+to be) +adj. 她今天看起来很高兴。 She__________________ today.
似乎没有人感到厌烦。 Still no one seemed _______________.
②seem to do sth. 好像要下雨了。 It seems _________________.
③It seems/ seemed that +句子 他似乎很累了。It_____________________________.
bored adj. boring adj. -ed 结尾的adj.通常修饰人，-ing结尾的adj.通常修饰物
用法类似的还有：relaxing/relaxed; interesting/interested; tiring/tired
surprising/surprised moving/moved; exciting/excited
e.g. Everyone got ______________ when they heard the __________ news. (excite)
be bored with=be tired of 厌倦...
enjoyable adj. 修饰物 一段令人愉快的假期 ______________________________
enjoy v. 享受，喜爱 enjoy doing sth. =have fun=have a good time=have a good day
e.g. They enjoyed themselves ___________(play) in the water.
11. decide v. decision n. 决定
decide (not) to do sth. 她决定去海南度假。___________________________________
decide on sth. 对某事作出决定，选定
e.g. ---Where will you go next summer ---Well, we finally decided ______ Paris.
decide+从句 Who can help me to decide what I should do 谁能帮我决定我该做什么？
decide+特殊疑问句+to do Who can help me to decide what to do
n. decision make a decision to do sth. =make up one’s mind to do sth. 决定做某事
12. try n. 尝试一下 ________________ v. __________(-ed) __________(-ing)
try one’s best to do sth.= do one’s best to do sth. 尽某人做大努力做某事
try doing sth._____________ try to do sth. ________________
try on 试穿 The shoes look good. Why not _____________________(试穿下它们)
feel like ①feel like doing sth.=would like to do sth.=want to do sth. 想要做某事
e.g. 我想去散散步。_______________________________________________________
②feel like+从句 我感觉我像一只鸟。_______________________________
difference n. e.g. There are many ___________________ between Chinese and English.
different adj. be different from be the same as e.g. Chinese ______________English.
differently adv. e.g. They may describe the same person _____________(different).
make a difference 有影响，起作用 e.g. Computers make a big difference to our life.
top n. on the top of... 楼顶有个花园。There is a garden ____________________________.

walk up to the top 走上顶 top students 顶尖学生 top three 前三名
wait v. _________(-ing) __________(-ed) wait for sb./sth. 等待某人/某物

Saturday, January 28th
What great weather! My family and I wanted to go somewhere interesting. Finally, we decided on Beijing. At first, we went to climb the Great Wall. When we got there, all of us felt quite excited. How wonderful the Great Wall is! We enjoyed the beauty of the mountains and took quite a few photos along the way. Then, we paid a visit to the Palace Museum.We learned something important about Chinese history from the guide. In the afternoon, we went to the Tiantan Park to relax ourselves.We did something exciting, like going boating there. At night, we tasted Beijing Duck in a restaurant. It was quite delicious. When I came back, I bought something special for my friends.
All in all, I had an excellent trip today. Although I was tired, I really enjoyed myself there. I hope to visit Beijing one day again.
Wednesday, October 25th
Today, my family and I went to a mountain for vacation by car.The weather there was cloudy and cool, just right for climbing mountains. By the way,the scenery along the way was fantastic.
About one hour later, we got somewhere near the top. And my legs were so tired that I wanted to stop for a rest.My father encouraged me not to give up, so I went on. After half an hour,we arrived at the top! At the same time, the sun came out. I could see things below clearly. I was surprised that I finally walked up to the top successfully. For lunch,we had something delicious.
What an exciting and unforgettable vacation it was! I also learned a useful lesson in my life.
