1 师陈述课题 导入新课
同学们，今天我们学习第六课 Lesson 6 Is there a library near here
2 A 师出示两个句子：1 书包里有一个文具盒。2 书包里有一些书。引导学生翻译出汉语意思。引导出本课的重点句型there be 句型结构。师生进行这两个句子的句型转换练习。
B 师出示Let’s talk 部分中的对话，指名学生朗读并翻译出其中文意思。
师泛读，生逐句跟读。
同桌两人进行对话练习，两人一组进行角色扮演朗读练习。
全班同学分为两组进行对话练习，直至对话能够熟练朗读。
C 通过一个快速反应小游戏 ，让学生练习right 和left的区别。
D 出示一条模拟街道，让学生说出街道两边店铺的英文名称。模仿对话进行问路和指路的问答练习。
E 师出示填空练习，让学生通过刚才的模拟练习完成该填空。
六 家庭作业
复习今天该课时学到的问路情景，在实际生活中运用there be句型进行一次英语问路和指路的活动。

八 小结
通过该课的学习，大多数学生能够用本课所学的主题句句型结构描述有关问路的话题。但是因为受到单词量的限制，还不能够畅所欲言的进行话题的讨论。只限于本套教材中出现的地点。但同时也激起了学生强烈的学习欲望，为进一步学习英语打下基础。
