一、导入新课：
1．Warming up.
2．Sing a song
3．Point to the PPT and ask questions:
What are they What colour are they Are they …or…
4．Describe the animals
二、自主学习
Take out some pictures to attract them预习 look and learn
Look at the pictures.
三、新知传授
1．Introduce: tortoise
1) Show a riddle about a tortoise
e.g.
It’s in the water. It’s green. It has a hard back. It walks slowly. What is it
2) Show the PPT of the tortoise. Ask and answer:
e.g.: How is the tortoise
2．Introduce: parrot
1) Show the picture: parrot
2) T: What colour is it
What does it like
3) Fill in the blanks
Look at the _________. It’s _________. It’s ______. It likes to eat______.
3．Introduce: cat food
1) Show the picture: Ginger
2) T: What does Ginger like
3) Show the word: cat food
4．Sentences:

1) Show the picture and ask

5．Introduce: bone, dog food
1) Show the picture: dog
What does the dog like
2) Dogs like dog food too.
四、示范制作
1．Show the exercises.
