Today, we are talking about money. I can share a bit about my history with money and my new view when it comes to using green paper.
I made a web page with links to posts about our financial (财政的) journey where you can look for more details of where we've been and how we got where we are now. It was a big part of my story in the past and was a huge part of our downsizing(精简) journey. We got out of debt and stayed out of debt.
So I feel eager(渴望的)to share the benefits of being on this side. It takes more planning and more careful thought whenever a dollar is spent now than it did when I had a wallet full of credit cards. I now like to think all of my dollars doing the job. So many of us work for money and don't consider that money should work for us, too. Make your dollars do the job of helping you live the life you want.
Each time money is spent or saved, it should be going toward something that you purposefully want for your life. Last week I was out and I spent $ 20 on food in 3 days. It made me angry because afterward I thought about eating is not at all what I want for my life.
On the other hand, there are times I spend $ 20 while out with my family and it doesn't bother(使烦恼)me one bit. An afternoon out with my kids during which we stop for ice cream, and do something fun together has a completely different feel.
In the end, I want the dollars I spend to have purpose like I can enjoy life while still planning and saving for the future.

A.more credit cards should be used in our daily life
B.we should work hard to make more money
C.money should help us live better
D.saving money is very easy
27.Why does the writer feel happy with the money spent with his family
A.Because the money is spent on food.
B.Because the money is spent in doing something fun.
C.Because eating is what he wants for his life.
D.Because the money goes toward something that he wants for his life.
One weekend last summer, I paid a visit to the Sahara Desert with my boyfriend David. Before we went to the Sahara Desert, we had heard about the sandstorms there. But we didn’t believe we would be so unlucky to experience one.
We were in a jeep with our guide when someone who was traveling with us said a sandstorm was coming. But the guide shook his head, saying we shouldn’t worry. He took us straight to the place where we would take a camel ride.
We were watching sunrise after the camel ride when the sandstorm came. The winds roared through the valleys between dunes, lifting the sand until it was impossible to breathe.
David found me in the sand. Then he began taking off his long scarf around his neck and face, wanting to put it around my face instead. But I rejected it. Instead, I managed to put on a travel jacket that I had put in my backpack and pulled the hood around my face. David held me and we walked in the sand. All I wanted was to get back to our camp and out of the storm.
Unfortunately, getting back to the camp meant facing the storm. Both David and I climbed on our camels. Sand hit every part of my body. With eyes shut tight, I was blind, unable to control the camel. When we finally stopped, David helped me to get off the camel and led me to the side of a long black tent, where he rolled out a blanket and helped me to sit. We saw our guide near us. “I thought you guys were going to kill me,” he said. “There were signs, if I had paid attention. The driver asked me twice about doing the ride tomorrow morning instead of tonight, but everyone was so excited about riding camels that I didn’t want to see all of you feel upset.”
Most of us laughed it off. A few even took a pleasure in the experience. Though I suffered a lot, I didn’t regret my trip there. How many people can say they’ve ridden a camel through a sandstorm in the Sahara Desert

B.They prepared well for a possible sandstorm.
C.They had good skills in surviving sandstorms.

B.He thought the sandstorm would stop soon.
C.He didn’t want to let the tourists down.
D.He wanted to finish the tour as quickly as possible.
31.What does the author most probably think of the experience

Artificial intelligence (AI) (人工智能)is the ability of a computer program or a machine to think and learn. It is also a field of study that tries to make computers "smart". John McCarthy, a scientist, came up with the name "artificial intelligence" in 1955. Many things such as learning and problem solving can be done by computers, though not in the same way as we do.
An unusual goal of AI research is to create computer programs that can learn, solve problems, and think logically(逻辑地). At present we use the term Al for successfully understanding human speech, recognizing(识别)human faces, operating self-driving cars and competing in some game systems like Chess and AlphGo(阿尔法狗). Some people also consider AI a danger to humans if it develops too quickly. Professor Stephen Hawking, a well-known British scientist, was not for this kind of technology.
Math is the basic language of AI. If we raise the standard in the learning of math, our students will be more likely to become successful AI designers in the future. We not only want bright students, but also need to attract average students and give them the math skills which are needed to change them into AI designers. Besides, a good knowledge of computer science is also necessary for AI designing.
Scientists hope to create creative and emotional AI which can possibly understand human feelings or create art. Many ways and tools have been tried to discover this fascinating field.
32.From Paragraph 1, we know that_________.
A.all problems can be solved by AI B.machines with AI can think and learn
C.AI has been around for only 60 years. D.AI works in the same way as humans
33.The underlined word "it" in Paragraph 2 refers to(指的是)_________.
A.Chess B.AlphaGo C.the danger D.AI

Disappointed and upset, Tom found his money box empty. The coins lying on the bed added up to $36.22 . But the bike he wanted cost $88 . Where and how could he get the rest of money He knew his fellows all had bikes, without which he couldn’t hang around with them on weekends. He thought about asking his parents for money, but soon gave up because he knew it wouldn’t happen.
Earning money seemed to be the only way. So he had to find a job first. He decided turn to Mr Jackie for advice, who usually had opinions in most things. “well, you can start right here, the floor needs cleaning and my car needs washing.” Then Tom’s part-time jobs began. For two months he worked every day after finishing his homework. He was surprised by a variety of jobs people found for him to do. He could hardly remember how many cars he had washed and how many windows he had cleaned, but he knew his dream would soon come true because the money kept increasing. The day finally came when he counted all the money he earned and found nearly 100 dollars. He couldn’t wait to go down to the shop to buy his dream bike.
It was by hard work that he bought the bike he had been dreaming of. So he cherished it very much. He had achieved what he thought was impossible, and that was more valuable than the bike.

36.由标题“Traffic Accidents and Road Safety”以及“The number of road accidents and the deaths arising from those accidents has increased greatly over the past year”可知,这是一篇关于“交通事故和道路安全”的通知,在过去的一年里,道路交通事故的数量和由这些事故引起的死亡人数有了很大的增长。
37.由标题“Driven not paying attention”以及This is the most common cause of accidents”可知,不注意驾驶。
38.由“Recently the number of people fined for speaking on their mobile phoned while driving has increased by 30 percent. Speaking on the phone requires concentration and takes a driver's attention from the roa”可知,最近,因开车时打手机而被罚款的人数增加了30%。
39.由“even if they have had just couple of beers, do not allow them to drive”可知,即使他们只喝了几杯啤酒,也不要让他们开车。
40.由“ They should be especially careful near schools, where there are likely to be many children.”

在做完形填空时一定要注意and/but/so/besides/however/furthermore/moreover/in addition/what’s more等词汇、固定结构的运用。 像but(但是)、however(然而),表示转折,这说明前后的内容相反或相对。 And it became clear that his house wasn’t poor, 60 rather warm and comfortable. A. or 或者,否则; B. for为了; C. but但是;D. and和。
A. right正确的,合适的;B. important重要的;C. possible可能的;D. easy容易的。 故选A。55. A. big大的;B. empty空的;C. old老的,旧的;D. safe安全的。 A. planted种植;B. picked 摘,捡;C. stole偷;D.borrowed 借。

故填which。

故填travelled/traveled。
故填To。

72.Paragraph 1
Eager to show off his new bike to his fellows, he rode home in a hurry. His fellows were more than glad that Tom owned his bike so that they could make a trip together. Exited and confident, Tom told them the fact that he spent spare time doing a variety of jobs to realize his dream with money earned by himself. All of his friends admired him for his hard work, expressing that they would learn from him, achieving their goals without giving up. Going home happily, Tom was encouraged and required by his parents to thank Mr Jackie and others for the part-time jobs they offered. Thinking of many surprising jobs, Tom understood all of them, and was moved to tears.
Paragraph 2
20 years later, Tom devoted himself to running a company with the name of Good Opinions. He was willing to give good opinions to people in difficulty, offering a variety of jobs and helpful equipment to help them overcome all the challenges and live a happy life. He used his action to thank Mr Jackie and others and spread their kind spirits.
Eager to show off his new bike to his fellows, he rode home in a hurry. Exited and confident, Tom told them the fact that he spent spare time doing a variety of jobs to realize his dream with money earned by himself.
