【教学过程】
Step 1 Warming up and review
Review the story learned last class.
Step 2 Presentation
1．Show the pictures of "red, green, yellow, blue, robot" to the students, and ask them what they can see in the pictures. After Ss describing the pictures. Write down new words on the board.
2．Ask Ss to read the words after the tape. And then show one of the pictures and ask Ss to answer "what is it " in competition.
3. play the radio and ask students to follow the radio to read the dialog in "listen and say" part, then teacher explains the sentences' meanings.
4．Ask Ss to look at "listen read and write" part and to read the sounds, after that T leads students to read the sounds and think about words with these sounds, and asks students to write more words.
Step 3 Game time
Ask Ss to listen to the tape and color the letters.
Step 4 Let's act
Ask Ss to read the dialog first and find out words or sentences that they don't know.
Then follow the tape and read the dialog.
Act the dialog in pairs.
Step 5 Practice
Try to do: color the pictures in book and talk with your partner using the sentences in book.
Step 6 Read and say
1. Group work: divide the students into 4 groups and ask them to read the passage, and ask them to continue the dialog, then share their results in front of the class.
2. Let's chant: read the sentences first, then make your own chant.
Step 7 Summary
Ask a student to give a summary to the content we learned today.
Step 8 Homework
1．Listen to the radio.
2．Review the new words and sentences.
3．Read the text
