　　本单元阅读文本的主题是印象派画。作者通过旅行日记的方式记录了在奥赛博物馆所见所感，介绍不同画家及其代表作，重点描述了莫奈和雷诺阿这两位印象派画家的创作特色与代表作品，并介绍了印象派画家的共同特点及其深远影响，激发读者品鉴艺术历史，提高审美素养，崇扬人文价值。

3. 通过文本分析和语篇解读整理印象派代表人物的绘画风格，并能够使用相关信息表达观点和解决实际问题。

Activity 1: Leading in and prediction(3 mins)
Show a picture and some paintings of world-famous artists to introduce the topic of this section.
Q1: Match the paintings with the painters.
Q2: What do you think the travel journal talks about according to the title and the pictures
【设计意图】此活动是导入环节。学生就上述两个问题展开头脑风暴，就主题展开发散联想，激活并储备话题词汇，为引出话题和预测课文内容作铺垫。

The Musée d'Orsay is a world-famous museum housed in an old railway station. It features some of the best-known Impressionists’ paintings.

(A: She felt that the two paintings had some similarities )

(A:I think the one in the middle is most likely an Impressionist painting because it is probably a normal everyday scene for the painter. The boat and its surrounding scene are just an impression of what the painter saw so they are not painted in clear detail—the soft edges of the boats, factory chimneys, sea and sky seem to mix together,which shows that the painter used the Impressionist brushwork technique. The painter also used light and vivid colors to express his feelings.)

Activity 4: Reading for writing style——title (4mins）
Q: How do you understand the title of this travel journal Why
(A: It is a good summary of the artistic features of the Impressionists. In addition, the title also indicates that this was the first time the author had laid eyes on real Impressionist works in a museum, since she had previously only admired them on her computer screen.The rhetorical device pun is used here.)
