五、教学过程:
Step 1: Warm-up
- Greet the students and review the previous lesson briefly.
- Show pictures of famous landmarks in Shanghai, such as the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Bund, and ask the students if they know the names of these places.
Example:
Teacher: Good morning, class! How are you today Let's quickly review what we learned in our last lesson. Can anyone tell me the name of this famous tower in Shanghai (Show a picture of the Oriental Pearl Tower)
Student 1: It's the Oriental Pearl Tower!
Teacher: That's right! And how about this place (Show a picture of the Bund)
Student 2: It's the Bund!
Step 2: Presentation
- Introduce the new vocabulary related to Shanghai, such as "Oriental Pearl Tower," "the Bund," "Yu Garden," and "Shanghai Museum." Use pictures and gestures to help students understand the meanings.
- Play an audio recording or read aloud a short passage about Shanghai. Ask the students to listen and follow along.

Step 6: Wrap-up
