一、教材分析：

五、教学过程：
Step 1: Warm-up
- Greet the students and review the previous lesson briefly.
- Show pictures of famous landmarks in Shanghai, such as the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Bund, and ask the students if they know the names of these places.
Example:
Teacher: Good morning, class! How are you today Let's quickly review what we learned in our last lesson. Can anyone tell me the name of this famous tower in Shanghai (Show a picture of the Oriental Pearl Tower)
Student 1: It's the Oriental Pearl Tower!
Teacher: That's right! And how about this place (Show a picture of the Bund)
Student 2: It's the Bund!
Step 2: Presentation
- Introduce the new vocabulary related to Shanghai, such as "Oriental Pearl Tower," "the Bund," "Yu Garden," and "Shanghai Museum." Use pictures and gestures to help students understand the meanings.
- Play an audio recording or read aloud a short passage about Shanghai. Ask the students to listen and follow along.
- Ask comprehension questions to check their understanding of the passage.
Example:
Teacher: Now, let's learn some new words related to Shanghai. Look at this picture. What is this place called (Show a picture of the Oriental Pearl Tower)

Step 3: Practice
- Divide the students into pairs or small groups.

- Ask the students to take turns asking and answering questions in pairs, using the target language.
Example:

Step 5: Production

- In pairs or small groups, have them create a dialogue where one student acts as the tour guide and the other asks questions about the city and its attractions.
- Encourage the students to use the target vocabulary and information they have learned.
Example:
Teacher: Imagine you are tour guides in Shanghai. Work with your partner to create a dialogue. One of you will be the tour guide, and the other will ask questions about the city and its attractions. Use the new vocabulary and information we have learned. You can refer to the map and the list of places to visit for ideas.
Step 6: Wrap-up
- Review the key vocabulary and phrases related to Shanghai.
- Summarize the main points of the lesson and encourage the students to share their thoughts and feelings about Shanghai.
