人物简介的一般步骤可以概括为5个字:
概、貌、育、平、评
1. brief introduction概指概况: age, family background, identity
2. appearance貌指外貌: appearance, character, hobby
3. education育指教育: education background
4. achievement平指生平: big events, achievements (in time order)
5. evaluation评指评价: influence; opinion

1996年5月 当选为中国工程院医药与卫生工程学部院士（an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering），著名呼吸内科专家。（director of the National Clinical Research Center for Respiratory Disease）
2003年、2004年 2003年春，SARS在中国和世界爆发，钟南山带领一大批医护工作者进行了长期努力抗击了非典；2004年，荣获“感动中国”十大人物之一。（China's inspirational role models）
2020年1月18日 17年后，COVID-19席卷中国和世界，八十四岁的钟南山乘火车从广州前往疫情中心武汉，再度挂帅出征，带领全国人民积极抗击疫情。
