Teaching procedure
Step1 Warming up
1. Greet the class as usual.
2. ( Show a picture of a clothing store)
T: Do you like going shopping Look! This is Miss Xie’s clothes store. Welcome to my store! Please come in. There are lots of beautiful clothes on sale! Do you want to go shopping with me
Ss: Yes.
T: OK. Let’s go.
Step2 Presentation
Teach the new words about the clothes.
(Show a picture of a shirt. )
T: Look! What's this
Ss: It’s a shirt.
T: Look! What's this
Ss: It’s a sweater...
In this way, teach the new words: shirt,T-shirt, sweater, skirt, shorts, pants, socks , shoes...And then talk about them.
2.Activity 1a. Ask students to finish 1a. Mach the words with the things in the picture.
