教材分析 The activities on this period are designed around the passage "A SHORT HISTORY OF WESTERN PAINTING". The lead-in part focus on the brief introduction about art and painting. The pre-reading part shows the photos and the tile of the passage, making students have a prediction, and then presents the key words and phrases of the passage. The while-reading part is divided into two activities. Extensive reading makes students to read the passage quickly and have a general understanding. Intensive reading leads students to understand the passage more detailed. The post-reading part pay emphasis on the language points and make some practice about the passage, in order to let students have a deeper understanding about art and painting. The summary part concludes the key words, phrases and sentences.
