Many people are getting the COVID-19 vaccine(疫苗) these days. But some are afraid of needles(针). Scientists around the world are working on new kinds of vaccines to help people get the vaccine more easily.

Chinese scientist Chen Wei and her team made a new vaccine for people to breathe(呼吸) it into mouth. “We tested it on people for a year and now hope to use it in real life,” Chen said.

Vaccine patch(贴片)
Australian scientists at the university(大学) of Queensland made a COVID-19 vaccine patch. “It’s very easy to use. You don’t even need doctors and nurses,” said scientist David Muller.
Just put the patch on your arm, leave it on for 10 seconds, then you get the vaccine. According to the scientists, the patch has 5,000 very small needles. They are so small that you won’t feel afraid. Now scientists are testing the patch on people. We may use it in two years when it’s ready.
