1.能够听、说、读、写核心短语：by plane, by train, by taxi, by ship, by bus, by subway, on foot。 2.能够在语境中灵活应用句型：“How do you get there ”询问出行方式,并能够用“On foot / By...”进行回答。 3.能够使用“How do you get to... from ... I get to...from...on foot/by...”谈论出行方式，并学会选择合适的出行方式。
教学内容
教学重点： 1.能够理解和掌握本课的重点词组by plane, by train, by taxi, by ship, by bus, by subway, on foot和句型“-How do you get there -On foot/By...”。 2. 能够理解和掌握本课重点词汇和句型。能够在现实生活中灵活运用句型“How do you get there ”来询问出行方式,并能够用句型“On foot/by...”进行回答。 教学难点： 3. 能够在情景中灵活运用句型“How do we/you get there ”询问出行方式,并能够用句型“On foot/By...”进行回答。
教学过程
Step 1 Greetings & Free talk 1.Greetings T:Hello,dear students. Welcome to my English class. Today we’ll learn Unit 2 Ways to go to school Part A Let’s learn & write and say.By the end of the class, you should be able to use the main sentence structures and the key words to ask and answer.Are you ready Now let’s get started. 【设计意图】明确学习目标，吸引学生的注意力，激发学生的学习兴趣和动力，带领学生快速积极地参与课堂。 2.Free talk Talk about the ways to come to school. T:First, I want to ask you a question: How do you come to school I come to school by car.(播放两个表达范例) T:How about you？Please share with me. Ss:I come to school on foot/by... 【设计意图】通过设置问题，以贴近日常生活的情境引导学生在示范后学会自主表达。范例表达降低了学生的表达难度，可有效引导学生完成对话任务，引入本课话题。 Step2 Presentation 1.Let’s enjoy T:Dear students,there are many ways to go to some places. John and Amy will go to school. Mike and Sarah will go to Scotland. How do they get there We can know the answers from the song 《How do you get there？》.Now let’s enjoy the song. Play the video of the song in Unit 2-How do you get there 【设计意图】利用单元主题歌曲创设情境，通过问题设置，引导学生在欣赏歌曲的同时关注人物的出行方式。 2.New words learning （1）Look and say T:Dear students,do you like the song What can you see from the song？Now let’s look and say. In picture 1 we can see a subway.Subway is a kind of train,but it runs under the ground. In picture 2 we can see a taxi.Taxi is a car, but you have pay for it. In picture 3 we can see some airplanes. Mike will take one airplane.We can also say plane. In picture 4 we can see a ship. It sails on the sea. 【设计意图】在情境中渗透单词subway，taxi，plane，ship。通过反复复现的形式感知、习得。 （2）Think and say T:Dear students, how will they get there Let’s think and say.We can use by...to answer. Let’s have a try. 【设计意图】利用单元主题歌曲创设情境，通过问题设置，引导学生在欣赏歌曲的同时关注人物的出行方式。并以歌曲为切入点进入核心词汇与句型的学习。 （3）Guessing game Read and guess how the teacher gets to the different places. 【设计意图】创设教师去不同地点的情境，通过文字、图片、声音等帮助学生理解大意，在情境中学习、操练“by car,by bike,by bus,by train,on foot”等核心词汇。 3.Let’s learn (1)Listen and tick T：Dear students,I go to different places in different ways. Miss Smith and the children will go out. Where are they going They will go to the cinema or the nature park Let’s listen and tick.Please pay attention to the key words.Are you ready Now let’s listen. Students listen to the recording. T:Dear students,do you get the answer Yes! They will go to the nature park. . (2)Listen and circle T:How do they get there Maybe they will go on foot，by bus，by plane，by ship，by taxi，by subway，by train。Now let's listen and circle.How do they get there Are you ready Here we go. Students listen again and circle the way. 【设计意图】通过听音选择、听音圈图的形式引导学生理解文本，学会在观察图片信息中预测对话内容，帮助学生有效地巩固核心词汇。 (3)Listen and imitate Students read after the video. 【设计意图】通过观看视频模仿跟读，引导学生用正确的意群及语音、语调朗读对话，熟悉对话内容，加深理解。 Step 3 Practice 1.Let’s practice Students make up new dialogues. 【设计意图】提炼课本对话内容，呈现核心语言框架，根据所给图片鼓励学生创编对话，巩固本课的核心词汇和句型。 2.Ask and answer Give some origins and destinations,lead the students ask and answer the dialogue with the sentence structures“-How do you get to... from... -On foot/By....” 【设计意图】通过创设真实的情境，在教师的引导下利用所学句子进行问答练习，培养学生的语言综合运用能力。 3.Write and say Help the teacher write the different ways to go to different places. Write down the places they want to go and the ways they choose. 【设计意图】利用填空的形式锻炼学生的语言综合运用能力。之后开展自主练习的活动，环环相扣，让学生能够在熟练运用核心词汇和句子结构之后，自主思考，学以致用。 Step 4 Summary and Emotion Education T:Dears students,the world is big, we can go anywhere. What’s more,there are many means of transportation，please choose the most suitable transportation according your own needs and likes. Especially the green ways！
【设计意图】呈现本节课的重点词汇，引导学生根据自己的需求和喜好选择合适的出行方式，倡导绿色出行。 Step 5 Homework 1.Listen and repeat the content on P15. 2.Share the places you want to go and how you get there.
