There is only one earth in the world.
We should protect them.
Animals are our friends.

Polar bears will die out soon because of people. The number of polar bears is becoming smaller and smaller because of global warming (全球气候变暖), pollution, hunting and so on. In order to save polar bears, we must start protecting the environment. In addition, we must stop hunting polar bears and buying things made of them. Also, the government should set up more laws to stop people from poaching (偷猎), illegal trade (非法交易) and punish poachers and illegal traders.
All in all, animals are our friends. We should know the importance of animals and live in harmony (和谐共处) with them.
Sumatran elephants are endangered. First
of all, they lose their home and food mostly because
people cut down forests. Elephants trample (踩踏)
people's crops and homes when they have no food.
Maybe if we protect the environment, they would have their home and food, and they wouldn’t have to trample our crops. What’s more, some people kill the elephants for their ivory. It’s high time that we should stop buying things made of ivory and other animal body parts. If there is no buying, there is no killing.
