二、教学内容分析
本单元的主题是 Collecting things，讲述学生会把比较感兴趣的收集物品作为兴趣爱好。本课时是第三课时，在 reading “Unusual collections”讲述 grandpa 和
grandma 的不寻常收藏品之后。
本课的 Listening 是输入，给学生提供一个采访他人收藏品的对话。在该对话中，一个电视台的记者采访了两个学生各自的收藏情况，都用了“Do you collect
anything ”提问。记者还访问了一个家长， 问到“Does your child collect
anything ”和“What do you think of this ”这些都是现实生活中的实际问题。而补充的 Book B 中的两段听力练习，一段是 Joanna 讲述个人收藏的 speech，学生根据所听内容选出正确答案；第二段是一段给新收集者的建议，学生做填空练习，这个练习难度比前面两个难一点，给学生更高的挑战。
本课的 Speaking 是输出，分成音标学习和对话练习。音标是学习双元音/ u/，
/au/ 以及辅音/w/，/j/ ，并指导学生正确朗读相关的单词。对话是两个同学间谈论收藏爱好的练习。课本上的要求是自己找同学进行练习，但是鉴于电视课程比较难操作，因此把这个部分改为课后作业。
三、学情分析
学生已经在第一课时和第二课时接触到收藏物品这个话题，在词汇方面已有基础；本课需要学生用到的特殊疑问句也在本册书第一单元的语法中再次归纳整理了。学生需要进一步训练的一是听到别人提问后做出恰当的回答；二是深刻理解
but 的用法，知道 but 后面才是说话人想要表达的重点。
四、教学目标
在本课学习结束时，学生能够：
理解 but 一词之后通常表达的是与之前不同的观点，学会听辨不同的观点；
学会询问别人和谈论自己收藏习惯和爱好；

五、教学重点、难点

六、教学设计理念
《英语课程标准》（2011 年版）针对七年级学生的听说能力，听力的要求如下：能识别不同句式的语调；能根据语调变化，体会句子意义的变化；能识别语段中句子之间的联系；能听懂有关教学话题的语段。说的方面要求如下：能在课堂活动中用简短的英语进行交际；能就熟悉的话题进行简单的交流；能提供有关个人情况和个人经历的信息；能在上述口语活动中做到语音、语调基本正确。
本课时听说的内容都是围绕单元主题：收藏物品这个话题展开，学生既熟悉该话题，也在 reading 中积累了一定的语言基础；并且在技能方面会锻炼到听前预测；还会学习到音标知识。通过以上的脚手架，学生能达成学习目标。
