二、教学内容分析
本模块的主题是“欢乐时光”，本单元围绕“收藏物品”的话题展开。主阅读篇章题为 Unusual collections， 体裁是一则以对话为主的小故事， 讲述的是 Sam 和
Helen 去看望祖父母的故事。这两位老人热衷收藏，藏品门类多样。老人们向孩子们展示了自己的藏品，还提出了要合理支配时间的建议。因此，本文的价值取向在于引导学生注意平衡好爱好和日常学习生活的关系。另外，在语言方面，文章中出现了一些新词，如：unusual, hardly, spend, everywhere 等，需要学生掌握相关的用法并完成对应的练习，提高综合运用语言的能力。在信息整理方面，主阅读篇章是以对话形式呈现 Sam 和 Helen 的参观和祖父母的收藏品，信息比较散乱，因此有必要将零散的信息进行归纳。
三、学情分析

从语言能力上看，课文理解的难度适中，易于理解，且通过一学期的阅读学习，初一学生已经具备了在阅读中获取段落大意和捕捉细节信息的能力，但是领会文章言外之意的能力仍有所欠缺，迁移运用阅读中所学词汇与句型的能力亦有待提高。具体而言，通过第一课时的学习，学生已掌握本单元主阅读篇章的故事梗概，在第二课时，教师更需要注重引导学生对文章的内在逻辑和深层内涵进行分析。
从学习风格上看，初一的学生多属于视-动觉型学习者，因此，在教学的过程中，可通过展示图片、思维导图等方式，以及引导学生表达个人观点等活动，让学生边读、边写、边看、边想，提高课堂的学习效率。
四、教学目标
语言能力：
能够理清文章结构，提取出文章的关键信息；
能够掌握 unusual, front, everywhere, hardly, spend 等单词和相关短语的意义和用法，并正确运用于句子和语篇中；
能够口头就如何平衡爱好和学习生活的关系给出建议。

教学方法: 本单元的课程将采用任务型教学法和五步教学法（ review — presentation--consolidation---practice--project）结合的方式，让学生形成探究和问题意识，精讲多练，边讲边练，及时消化与巩固，提高课堂效率。
教学模式：本课将采用“问题-探究式”和“传递-接受式”的教学模式。先抛出问题，学生通过思考，小组讨论等方式探究解决问题，旨在培养学生的思维品质和创新能力。在语言点和语法课上，将注重知识点的讲授，辅以相应的练习，让学生充分吸收新知识。
