【重点语法】
形容词最高级： 用于三者或三者以上的人或事物相比较。标志词：表比较范围时用in/of形容词最高级前须加定冠词the，副词最高级前可省略the。
它是所有苹果中最大的一个。 It’s the biggest apple of all.
表示“三者（或以上）中最……的”的句型1）A + be + the 形容词最高级 + 表示范围（in/of介词短语）2）A + 实意动词 + (the) 副词最高级 + 表示范围的of/in介词短语
常用句式1) Who/ Which…+ 最高级…, A, B or C 2) one of +the +形容词最高级 +名词复数形式, 意为“最…之一”。3）序数词后跟形容词最高级
形容词和副词最高级的构成:
一般情况在词尾直接加 est；以字母 e 结尾的只加 st:
hard hardest late latest
重读闭音节词尾只有一个辅音字母时，先双写该辅音字母，再加 est；
big biggest
以辅音字母 + y 结尾的先变 y 为 i 再加 est
happy happiest
在多音节和部分双音节词的前加 most 或 least

辨析：close和near

上边三个句子中的cheaply、carefully、comfortably都是副词，意思是：cheaply, adv.便宜地; carefully adv. 细致地；小心地；谨慎地
comfortably adv. 舒服地；舒适地, 他们的构成方式：形容词+ly →副词
上述三个句子中的cheaply, carefully, comfortably都是副词，在句中分别修饰前面的动词buy, choose, sit, 在句中作状语。
e.g. You can buy skirts cheaply in this clothes store.
在这家服装店里你可以很便宜地买到短裙。
Alice chooses clothes most carefully. 艾丽丝挑衣服最细心。
9. The DJs choose songs the most carefully.音乐节目主持人挑选歌曲最细致。
choose意为“选择,挑选”，可作及物动词或不及物动词，后面接人或物作宾语。
常用结构为：
choose from（后接挑选的范围）从……中挑选
choose (not) to do sth. 选择（不）做某事
我将从那些书里挑出最好的一本。
I will choose the best one from those books.
我们选丹尼当我们班的班长。
We chose Danny to be the monitor of our class.
10. How do you like it so far
How do you like... ＝What do you think of... “你认为……怎么样？”
常用来询问对方对某物或某人的印象、评价、看法等。
例: How do you like Chinese food
= What do you think of Chinese food
你认为中国食物怎么样？

=What do you think of/ about Chinese food
—I like it very much. 我非常喜欢。
so far“到目前为止”，指从过去某一时间开始到现在这一段时间
so far ①=by now到目前为止；迄今为止

In Britain, some people say they will do anything if a famous person they love asks them to. One in three people in Britain has a new kind of disease(疾病) — he/she loves a famous person too much.
Some people love famous stars like Britney Spears, David Beckham or even Tony Blair. It is not just the young, grown-ups have the same problem. One in four people is so interested in his/her hero that it affects (影响)his/her life.
There are two ways of worshipping(崇拜) famous people. One way is just to follow them or talk about them with friends for fun. The other is a more serious way.
